    I love the fact that you are not trying to cover lyrics and you are just playing the piano part!

      FINALLY SOMEONE GETS ME! When I search “Piano cover” I mean by this! Just the piano parts! No playing of lyrics of the piano! Just the piano itsef!

      So true! When I search for covers I want the part that the artist was playing, not some sort of solo piano version. Well done!

    You have incredible talent!! I'm 14 and I've been playing since I was two and I'm trying to take up this piece to impress my older brother. Your playing has somewhat, inspired me that someone other than Elton John himself can play this awesome song. Nice going man!

      Since you were two? Holy fuck man, tickling the ivories since before you knew how to shit properly, that's fucking dedication.
      I wish my parents got me into playing piano at such an early age, might have retained much more ability to play whatever I wanted if that was the case...

    Wow!!! You are an amazing pianist!! This is such an enjoyable video to watch and I have watched it over and over. You have inspired me to re- learn how to play the piano. I took lessons as a child but now I am in my 50’s. This looks like a very difficult song to play but I hope it’s not too late to one day be able to play Crocodile Rock 😊

    That's very good - I found the arrangement from the Ultimate book very tricky. I think they've taken the bass guitar part and overlaid the melody on it, and it just doesn't sound right (most of the other arrangements are pretty good). I'm going to try it your way...

  • @Klaverskolen
    @Klaverskolen  7 лет назад +7

    I used partly of the score, but learned it from my music teacher a long time ago. I have added some few things myself (like the broken chords in the intro). I recommend you buy The Ultimate Elton John Collection.

    The third chord in the intro should be Gdim/F#, rather than F#7---small point, but it does make a difference.

    • @Klaverskolen
      @Klaverskolen  5 лет назад +2

      You are right, on the album he plays Gdim/F#, but I noticed he does not do that in most live performances... and I think it sounds better with the F# chord.

    • @Daberney
      @Daberney 5 лет назад +2

      I like the dissonance resulting from combining the Gdim with the F# bass, resolving to Gmaj---it's less obvious than using the straight F#7.
      I will check out some videos of EJ doing the song live.
