This piano was meant to bring joy, and it has. Sad to see how recently it has been allowed to become involved in a political situation. Let's hope that very soon it will once more be a gathering place for people to enjoy, while expressing happiness and freedom.

It was a gift for all to enjoy but unfortunately some people like Brendan saw it as their own personal RUclips streaming platform. There is plenty of blame to go around regarding the incident with the Chinese group but don’t invoke Elton John and don’t paint all people from a country with the same broad stoke of the brush. That all. Cheers.

IMO, He and Bernie were one of the all-time great writing teams, period. Certainly, in pop music. Right amongst greats like Lennon and McCartney. His early works, sometimes putting out 2 records in a year, were prolific and fantastic. Not many could touch his pace and quality of writing at that time. That makes him a musical genius in my book. Thanks, Sir Elton.
