Nice playthrough! I played both battles over the weekend and you're right that Spring Hill is the more compelling of the two. In mine, the Union won a narrow victory thanks to a big disparity in casualties, but the Confederates were able to use their calvary to bottle up the exit point for the supply wagons and none of them were able to escape. The Franklin battle I think does a good job of representing what happened historically, but it means a TON of Southern casualties, and they'll need some good dice rolls to break through the Northern defenses. I only had one Confederate brigade break through, and they didn't hold it for long. Just a couple of gameplay notes that I noticed: Earthworks do block line of sight for artillery, but only if the unit is a behind the earthwork hex. If they're actually in the earthworks hex, they can still be fired at; When infantry are in column formation that can't move adjacent to an enemy unit. And don't forget that you can you can combine units in combat and have multiple attack one enemy unit. There were a few instances where you could have done that and it can make a big difference if you're able to get to those higher SPs on the combat results table. Finally, I could feel your pain when you accidentally routed the wrong unit, it can be confusing as heck at times with so many counters together. I started using meeples to mark who had already attacked and been attacked so I could keep track better. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your channel!

Thank you, Bill, for the demo of the Battle of Spring Hill. I enjoyed your introduction to the game and game play. I hope you will turn over the board and do a further demo of the Battle of Franklin.
