    4th Option +M , -I ..... oxygen atom lone pair shows Electron releasing group in Mesomeric and Same Oxygen atom is more electronegativity when compared with Carbon atom...

      @@havishmakota if halogens have lone pairs they ll show both +M and -I but -I ll dominate over +M so in case of halogens consider -I

    In 8th example why the lone pair on the nitrogen will not shift towards coch3 as also coch3 is electron withdrawing group
    It pulls it towards it

    Thanku very much mam. But most of the questions coming in our papers were like comparing the stability or the acidic nature by placing the groups at different positions(-o, -m and -p). I had tried many questions but after doing those questions I had now been more confused than before. U r the only source for me mam. Please mam make a video on those type of questions

    Answer 4 is correct mam why because O has lone pair of electrons. So conjugation is there that's way +M.

    as per some books the halogen is introduced in the +M groups for that what we can do

      Halogen have both effect +m and -I
      But for cl, Br, I. -i effect is dominant over +m in this case we can say that( -I >+m),
      But in Florine ( +m > -I)

      Komali Mam in this video you explain about eg of NH2(lone pair) and NHCOCH3 in the time of video (10:00) stating that when lone pair present in the resonance it show more giving tendency, hence (NH2 lonepair) powerful +M group than NHCOCH3.
      On your home work ,oxygen having lone pair and itz resonance with COCH3 then how the ans will be 4 it vl be 3 right(-M less releasing,-I) kindly explain on this🙏

    4th option because of lone pair it is +M and C-O group is an with drawing group so it is -I effect
    So the answer is +M and -I
