Own a heritage. Was my first Staccato and, like you, was a total impulse buy. My favorite hand gun I own. Looks, capacity, easy of nail driving... win win all the way around.
@@everyday.tacticalso, do you mind explaining why you like the long grip with the short slide/barrel? I’ve got a Cs, c2 (ported), p, and xc, and I typically am looking to do the opposite of what you’re talking about. I only really like to buy guns I can carry (other than the xc/other duty size stuff), and my usual philosophy is ‘I can hide 2 feet of slide, but need to be careful about grip length’ I guess with trying to keep this short, I just don’t get why you’d want to cut down on barrel length, which is basically a freebie when carrying, but add onto frame/grip, which is what you have to conceal? This is an honest question, and not a troll, genuinely curious. Thanks!
Solid question! For my body type, concealing a full size grip is no problem. So I always prefer a full size grip instead of feeling cramped on a compact grip. You are right about the slide that you can conceal any length. However comfort is the issue here. Anything longer than a g19 sized slide (4inches) then I always need to adjust my pants before sitting down. But 4” and below I don’t need to adjust anything before sitting. This is for my body specifically and other people may be different.
You can’t use the p grip on the new C. It’s either the use the narrow cs mag or a longer new narrow higher capacity 9mm specific staccato mag. They likely transitioning to the narrower 9mm mag. The older gen staccato mags will not work.
I wish I knew that before today. This morning a bought my first P! I very much liked and wanted the c2 but didn’t like that pinky feel. Had no idea I could have also gotten a p frame. Welp next Christmas present 😂 this is the most incredible thing I have ever fired!!!
Loved this video comparison and your decision process makes perfect sense. Solid content thank you. I am holding out for the Staccato C. I might have to wait a while since I'm sure it's going to be one of their hottest sellers.
I have the P, PH and CS. Out of all of them my fav EDC is the PH. Perfect size, covers all the bases. I’m really interested in the new C ,that looks like a great all around Carry as well. I like the mods you did to the C2. Good review!!
Funny you mentioned the 43x and 365 those were both my carry guns and now I rock the CS. Only time I bring the others back out is when I know I’m going somewhere that I will have to leave my gun in the car.
Nice comparison. I have all 3. P 4.4", A CS, C2 Threaded Barrel. The 4.4 P Threaded Barrel was my first Staccato, I put a ICE Compensator on it. It shoots nice, light recoil, but it's a bit heavy now after shooting the other two. I just need self defense, carry sometimes, so a competition pistol isn't really a necessity for me. They all shoot equally as well for me. So I'm still contemplating the P as far as what to do with it. Keep it or sell/trade it. Possibly going to give the CS to my wife, so I might buy another CS or C2 if I sell/trade it. Keep one at home 100% of time for self defense and the other I will use as a carry.
The NEW Staccato C with 18rd grip really intrigues me. Im the same as you though. I don't want "range guns", everything I own is for carry purpose in some way.
I carry a C2 with Monsoons integral comp work. My Range Gun is an older P with 4.1” barrel I had Vulcan Port. A great shooter. The P’s heavier than I like for an EDC gun, particularly in Summer.
I have a P226 Legion SAO that i carry and was looking into switching that up for the C2. I gotta get my hands on one at the range so i can make a decision
I prefer the P. I carry it daily. It IS more comfortable at 3 or 4 o'clock than appendix to me. I carry without light appendix and with light on the hip bc of holsters for now.
Great video man. I just got into the 2011 platform last summer. Started with a C2. Would really love the gun a whole lot more if I could run a TLR7 Sub with an Antimatter Micro-wing but the 7 Sub just doesn't fit and I love the Micro-wing so much on my modded out Hellcat RDP that I may actually end up buying a CS that will take the same set up. Otherwise, I'm just stuck using the larger X300 with the full size Wing on the C2.
@FLXTactical Absolutely agree. I'm sitting here now on GunBroker tonight looking at the few CS pistols that are one there. Knowing I'm going to void the heck out of the warranty almost immediately by either a Pandemic Port from SkipsGunz or Staccports from Vulcan Machine Werks, I'm looking at picking one up that's slightly used. The videos I've seen on the CS with the TLR7 Sub and Antimatter Wing seem to all suggest the same thing... "Perfect EDC Setup." I'm thinking I'll keep my C2 as my primary pistol for the truck and actually carry the CS concealed.
My impulse buy last week was the CS. Really wasn’t on my list as I was looking for a new EDC. 8 years with a G23 then 365xl not liking that too much and the 43x not feeling much different than the 365xl Saw the CS and bought it. Feels great but will definitely need to practice because of the safety.
I had an opportunity to shoot the P and fell in love with the way it shot. That said, I'm coming from a G19. I'm really torn between the C2 and the P. I usually carry appendix and can acknowledge the P is going to be a lot to deal with. At the end of the day, which will serve me better. I'm thinking the P is a better shooter. What say you? Is the P a better shooter in a markedly way?
I actually did run that for several months. I liked the feel a lot but I hated the look. I also didn’t like practicing a reloads with it because the extension was longer then the mag well
@FLXTactical How do you like the SRO on a daily carry? Ever have any issues or concerns with the hood causing a malfunction being so close to the Ejector Port? I'm debating between SRO & Full size EPS for future Staccato Purchase (New C Model)
I really want to know if the heritage performs better than the c2. I’ve become obsessed with the heritage and I’ve found a few for sale but the are price gouged. If I own a c2 should I buy the heritage or go with the normal P
There’s no significant difference in performance except the P being heavier than the c2 which helps recoil. I love the P heritage but I wouldn’t overspend on it. A normal P would perform the same.
What do you think is a better summer carry CS or C2? I already CCW my P its my all around gun, but I want something smaller and lighter for summer. Thanks
I would wait for the new C to come out if you want the longer grip. Otherwise CS for summer carry. Some people really value interchangeable mags, if that’s you then c2
Staccato catered to lefties with the competition guns with ambi slide stops. So why exclude them with other models? Theres more left handed CCW holders out there than there are left handed competition shooters, so what gives Staccato?
I dunno, I bought the LFA Apollo 11 compact for $999, I’ve let multiple people shoot it at the range that own much higher end 2011s, they all say it stands up.
I am a 2011 shooter only. Nothing like the platform. I could not drop that much for a staccoto. So I went with the prodigy 4.25 and upgraded it for around 300 bucks. I got 1550 total with out the holosun eps carry. So about 1000 cheaper then a staccotoi stock. The prodigy shoots amazing. My buddy has a staccoto p and shoot better with my prodigy 4.25 the first time he shoot it. And to all the haters of prodigy I have a gen 2 and never once had a issue . Even before breakin at under 500 rounds. Even the gen 1 after break in don't have issues that much. Don't let this scare you away from a prodogy. They are incrediable and my edc. I bought the CS yesterday. The reason, it fits my hand like a glove. It just feels right.
Great piece. Slightly small for me but it’s still great.

Best staccato 2011 RUclips vlog👍 after watching I think C2 will make me happy!
C2 is awesome
You’ll prob like the new Staccato C 4.0 model that’s coming out. You can rock it with either the cs or P grip.
Yup very interested in it. It might be perfect. I might also want to try the 18rd grip on the CS to get the short slide with long grip.
@@everyday.tacticalso, do you mind explaining why you like the long grip with the short slide/barrel? Great job explaining the differences and why!

Love my ‘24 C.
I want the C with full size grip
Just picked up the CS (blem) and have a P. Use the P for duty and will use the CS for everything else. Love them both!
Great video and content!!

The P Heritage. My EDC. ‘24 CS is my next purchase.

I have the P Heritage. It’s awesome! I’d prob look at a CS for carry in the future.
The CS is great, I just want a slightly longer grip
Nice comparison, I believe you can get the P with either aluminum or steel frame. I have the CS with flat trigger and DLC barrel.
Yup there’s a few more options you can get with the P that I didn’t mention in the video
Bro love that transition!
Finally someone noticed! You the videographer? I just checked your channel.
@@everyday.tactical I've been trying to get my match cuts down...but that was buttery smooth...
What does shooting "flat" mean?
When the gun has less recoil

C2 now has the option of full size grip
Yup I saw the other day lol. I would go C with full size. The new mags are much better
P heritage looks amazing , definitely on my wish list . Curious what your thoughts are on the new c model fill size
I like the new C models. Perfect for carry and better than C2
I have the P and the C2 I love them both but the C2 is my EDC. The P is my favorite to shoot.
