Erica Mena situation is great example of Spanish women who play both sides. Evelyn Lozado should have been banned to after she ended that man's career and called that chick a monkey. They play in our face all day and we let them. As usual Joc is on point.

He’s right. It’s time to stand by accountability. It’s tough for her but maybe she’ll grow from her mistakes. It’s never too late to understand why that’s wrong and why it shouldn’t be said. Most groups would take issue with similar remarks, take KanYe and the Jewish community or anything with the lgbtq communities for instance, it would have consequences, so this is relatable.
Also everything he talked about was genuine and discussed in a very grown manner. People can talk about him, but he’s a smart man.

And the blue monkey comment was racial to me, If you’re not from an African descent, then there are some things you just can’t say, , it doesn’t matter if you have kids with a black man or if you’ve grown up with blacks only , you don’t say what you want! I have friends who I’ve grown up with who have black kids, and they have never even whispered the “N” word

He understands the impact of music on the black community now but what trips me up is. When men prompt unhealthy lifestyles it’s OK (he made the same type of music with even more influence) but because it’s a women doing it… you can see the effects it has on our people? And its detriment to the black household? But he got here where he is off the same trendy bars! But happy people are having the conversation and coming to deeper realizations to understand it’s not just music/ representation!

I think Erica Mena and many others aren’t outright racist, I think that everyone who is not a black person is , of course aware of how Black people are treated. They know it’s wrong. They may not agree with how Black people are treated. But, at the end of the day, the aren’t Black and they know that they are treated more fairly as though they’re better than Black people. Deep down they feel a bit of superiority. I believe the truth about your deep rooted feelings come out when you are angry. Racist comments don’t have to be said because you’re angry but that comment will come out if that’s your true feeling. Period. Dating Black folks and having mixed race children with a Black person doesn’t mean you’re not someone who has a particular feeling about Black people, women or men as a whole. Most non Black people have an idea in their mind about who Black people are and how they live. Honestly we as Black people have our feelings about other races so what makes people think other races aren’t thinking the same way about us as Black people.

I'm 55 and I remember vividly when hip hop reached us in the south. 44, 45 years at best. I had the king tim the third on 8track. To put a definitive date on hip hop is preposterous. New York doesn't have that privilege.James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, Etc...😮😮.😮😮😮😮. You shouldn't give Bam credit for something that he absolutely didn't create. Just saying 😅

  • @heathernelson8560

Love and hip hop is watched by black women. So you can't just say what you want about black women when that's who's bringing the money and started putting the show on the map. I have nothing against hispanic people. If you with us I rock with you but if you not then why the hell you want to be around us. Go start your own show and build up y'all own platform. Stop coming to our stuff and expect to be the spotlight on our stuff. It's mainly the women.
