amazing seeing the old Valletta gate with the grandmaster's statues before it was pulled down that same year. Hagar Qim temples brought me great memories when we used to go there as much as we wanted free of charge.

Adorable children's film. I remember seeing it in 4 segments at my local library in Queens, NY back in the 70's. Is the entire Malta really this beautiful, or is this merely part of it?

Sadly , Malta is nowhere near this beautiful anymore . Nowadays it's just a Concrete Jungle

since this movie 58 years ago the population has doubled and people stopped going to Australia, England, Canada and USA. the number of cars is at least ten times as then, foreigners from Europe Africa and Asia have increased at least 10 times as much. Most of Valletta , three cities and mdina remained the same, but all the villages and sea side towns are unrecognisable, except their centres. Sliema, St julians dominated by high rise building. almost all beaches invaded by deck chairs in summer, parking at a premium everywhere.

    Thank you and good day.

its an Enyd blyton famous five type of movie , most of us see it to see how Malta of the early sixtees was. whats of interest was the old city gate which was pulled down that same year. hagar qim neolitichs temples back then were free of charge for visitors. buses were colourful. most of the adult actors if not all are dead.
