My mom taught me a very simple way to get this same result, it’s still my favorite insert method. One thing she always stressed was to sew both sides of the zipper from the same direction, either both up, or both down. This way the zipper and fabric don’t creep and twist.

Вы вшиваете потайную молнию по принципу вшивания простой молнии. И в чем здесь секрет? Если молния потайная, то и вшивать ее нужно как потайную, а не как простую.
