You just taught me a good tip and that is to cut the bottom part of the lower zip facing narrower (in your example 3 cm width). I always cut the bottom layer of the zipper facing to the same width, and therefore had to interrupt the stitching of the top part of the zipper facing. Now that is no longer necessary. Neat! I just recently sewed a pair of work pants (a new pattern from The Thread Theory) and the way they have you sew the zipper is not easy and the zipper lands too close to the edge for my taste. I will write down your method, I'm afraid the interwebs are going to fail one day and all this valuable knowledge is going to disappear 😂😂😂😂Thanks!
Great video! Have never sewn a fly-front zipper and videos on the subject are as confusing as all get out! At least your video got me farther along the process than ever before. It got real fuzzy towards the end though.
