i doubt they would they just got a new engine about 2 or 3 years ago normally they r not replaced maybe every 15 to 20 years and the trucks r in into the ground the shop that fixes these trucks does a shitty job at it

I'd love to see it, but the issue is the narrow streets throughout most of the city. Thats the reason this truck didnt stay at Ladder 5, the streets were too narrow to make most of the turns in their local. As for single axle tower ladders, the issue is then having enough space on the truck to store all the equipment. Tillers by far are the best fit for Philly.

Not even a 75ft ladder could fit down most Philly streets. On almost every block in most neighborhoods are side streets that are completely filled by houses, and when I say houses, I mean at least 100 houses alone. A majority of the streets are narrow, but then add the fact you'd have to turn onto a street that's barely even the length of a single car, that calls for tillers. Most of the jobs Philly gets are on streets exactly like I've described. Not even an E-One Metro could fit those tight streets/corners.
