- This was the one and only warning a caught today. This cell before reaching Burlington's and Albany's CWA's was considered a tornadic supercell by Buffalo where it was placed under two Tornado Warnings. Saw strong rotation on radar, however no reports of any touchdown. First alert on Black and Silver WR-100!

Dude I can’t wait to hear mine go off! I’m fucking waiting anxiously. The day I got it ironically our area had a severe thunderstorm warning issued but unfortunately I did not figure out the instructions until about 10 minutes after the stupid EAS went off. Lol.

Cool collection! How do you know when the warnings are going to be issued? Is there an application you can download to tell when EAS transmissions are coming?
NWSchat can give advanced notification of when warnings are issued, however, it requires you to be a trained spotter though. If you can, however, it is WELL worth it, plus you can directly relay reports to the National Weather Service without calling the NWS or 911
