I bought a TJMerry TCU tune which came with a manual mode. If you want to do a burnout without manual mode, downshift into 1st with the gear selector, then when you do the burnout, don't rev it past like 5k or so so it doesn't upsbift
When I go for a burnout in mine the back tires lock up and might spin a tiny bit once or twice, any idea what I’m doing wrong? I’m new to rwd any help is appreciated 😂
You need to turn off ESP. On mine I fully disabled ESP/ABS by removing the front riiht wheel speed sensor which I have a video on. But first try just pushing the ESP off button and doing the burnout and see what happens. You need to minimally brake too. The car is hard to initiate the burnout so you gotta floor it and almost let the car move forward with the brakes before the wheel will spin. And once they start spinning your partying.
@@sebjebofficial6230 yep I ended up figuring it out, I tried prior to this comment to put it in dyno mode and failed but after some messing around I figured it out and turned dyno mode on and did some fat donuts in a school parking lot 😂 is it worse for the car to drive it in dyno mode somehow? I might just leave it on that so I can whip a burnout whenever I feel like lol
Dyno mode will eventually lead to limp mode so you can't leave it on unfortunately. Best bet is to turn of esp and if it restricts you then pull one of the front wheel speed sensors out of the spindle (while still plugged in).
@@sebjebofficial6230 interesting, when I did drive with it on I drove for about 30 minutes with no noticeable changes and probably would have done it more often without this comment so I appreciate it. Last question is it alright to turn it on every now and then when I want to show off to my buddies or will that add up overtime and run limp mode? Thanks man 🙏
Yeah you could use dyno mode for a quick burnout. Mercedes just programmed it to initiate limp mode so that people don't drive arround without esp and abs. Doesn't hurt the car at all, it's just programming.
Hye bud, how you can keep 1 or 2 gear? I have e500 too, but i cannot do burnout(
