The styles so beautiful! And I like how it doesn’t make the more feminine stuff look bad, but make it clear that it’s just not the kid’s style! And I like that the mother clearly means well and not trying to force anything, just doesn’t understand but when she does, she still accepts and loves💖
This may be one of the shortest films released by Gobelins, but it’s instantly the one that means the most to me. The way it communicates how a family can be loving but smothering at the same time, just by not allowing a child to express themselves. The way the paneling shows a growing emotional divide, and how easily the mother can tear that divide down just by being accepting once her child is able to communicate their identity. It’s all so subtle yet impactful. To Alexander Aguilar and anyone else who had a hand in making this, thank you. It’s rare to see these struggles depicted with such care and tact. I absolutely love your film.
I love that the Mom isn't depicted as bad, and that the whole video has a cery strong feminine charm to it. It makes ot more clear that neither of these are bad, but that they're just wrong FOR HIM. I feel like more amateur depictions of the trans experience sometimes go overboard on the anti-feminine/anti-masculine stuff.
I love the choice of always having the child be blue even when the rest of the room is warm colored. Even when there’s a pink overlay, the blue tones still shine through. The colors in this film are truly immaculate and very thoughtful! I also adore the message very much! Especially as someone who has had many difficulties with gender in the past

moral of this story is never change who you are just be yourself.

🤲⭐️ att, el team de una persona jajaja
Pero enserio, muchas gracias!
As a transgender male teen, I can say that this is absolutely realatable for me and I want my mom to finally call me my REAL NAME
OMG I LOVE THIS ANIMATION SM IT LOOK STUNNING AND THE MESSAGE IS SO SWEET!!
Getting me choked up here! Excellent work
This is a lovely animation! The mom looks like Charlie from DST!
This is so Beautifully done! I Love how well it shows the message it’s trying to convey to the Audience. I Love the Art Style too, it’s so colorful and has alot of Character! 💛😻💛😻💛😻💛
The animation, story, and music are so beautiful. Even though I am not transgender myself, seeing the boy conflicted in coming out as trans to his mom hits me so hard. I don't mind seeing queer people, but my mom acts like she doesn't approve of them and finds them disgusting.
such a beautiful film !!! the art style is really impressive too> AND love the kinda upbeat music throughout :)
Im so glad this has such a sweet ending 😭
This is just so cute 🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
very well made trans representation, and the feels man. The way the mom accepts her son at the end is so beautiful. i really loved it because is short i didn't expected at all so it was a cute surprise. But i'm so slow i had to rewatch it to notice that at first his name is Flor and represents everything female related, and also Colombia flag, and they are latinos como yo jaja. I like good families in animation so much, also the designs are a little like those futuristic magazines like UPA style kind of stuff. I just love it 💛
The rythm of animation and the music go along so well 😊
im always thinking how a name could be a catalyst of lots of behaviors and traits.
Is an important thing but not everyone know why is so important.
Omg I love it, the style, the message and how dynamic it is😍😍😍😍
Even if your son prefers another name... his mother will always love him
The music in stride... Chef's kiss 🥺 ❣️
i try no to cry but i cry. thanks a lot
I love it SO MUCH.
I LOVE IT SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR THIS ARTWORK

The colours are so pretty 😻 the pace and the music and the shapes aaah it works so well together!
i love the artstyle and i love the story!
This is so beautifully made! Tearing up😢
The animation was amazingly great that was character design with a UPA-styled looks!!
not me crying when i finally realised what this about
Very beautiful!!
