as a person who doesnt know the names of lots of bands and artists, one of the things I like about these videos is if I hear a style I like I can search for that artist to find their original works.
The placement of different styles in specific parts of the song is genius. The Bloodhound Gang on the part about the Discovery Channel Cannibal Corpse on the part about cannibals Will Smith on the part about Will Smith, etc. Good stuff.
I think that there's an underappreciated skill on display here with the Pet Shop Boys style - to be able to switch up accents with no lead up and no cool down. A great rendition.
Not to take away from the skills it takes to make these, but it's obviously not a live performance. In the video he's lip-syncing to the audio clips he pre-recorded.

It’s amazing how you manage to find just the right sounds, licks, little notes that really make each band, not just the vocals. Some nice surprises there too. I mean, Bloodywood! Nailed them. DevilDriver… and Five, of course! Falling in Reverse was really so much like them, but then again the guy is so much like Eminem when he raps.
