What if Terra actually remembers Beast Boy, and everything else but didn't want to risk falling back into Slade's control?
That would've made the episode more sense.
I always figured she remembered but wanted to have a better life.
I think she did just chose not to say anything about it cause really think about it. Yeah beastboy was thirsty but really I feel like each time she kept denying to me she kept remembering like he was triggering it but she suppressed it so much that it will hurt her if it overcomes.....reason for the Slade fight....I think the ending is more on mental health level
You can tell by the end she probably remembers, no she definitely remembers, she literally says things change, she changed, this is also symbolic of the show wanting to end, therefore things change, the only plothole in this theory is why she didnt just tell him outright, maybe some answers must be kept secret, maybe she just wanted to be a normal girl, which has a few loose ends to tie but thats fine
That's what I thought actually happened.... I didn't see the final 4 eps except the last ep of teen titans so I assumed she pretended to not remember who he was to live a normal life
The saddest part of Regular Show is that since skips is immortal he LITERALLY watches everyone dies AS well as there kids and grandkids. That thought messes with my mind!!!!!!

My theory was that the whole episode was sort of a message to the fans asking them to let go of the series. Terra represents the show that's ending while Beast Boy represents us. It's normal to want a show you love to continue but at some point you really have to let it go. Even if you don't understand everything and not all the plotlines were resolved eventually you just have to accept that Things Change. You'll never get all the answers you're looking for and you have to move on with your life exactly like beast boy does in the end. Because if you do try to force it back you might end up with something like Teen Titan's Go. I've been a fan of this theory since the series ended but I think it's become a lot more commonly believed in the last few years.

Common mistake, pops didn’t lose all of those fights, they tied. Whenever pops fight his brother anti-pops originally if pops won the world wouldn’t reset and they’d fight again in a few thousand years, but if anti-pops won the whole universe would be destroyed. Since pops and anti-pops always TIED the universe got reset over and over again. But, since he sacrificed his life with anti-pops this made the universe continue its cycle with no more resets.
The ending montage of Regular show was probably one of the best endings we could have ever gotten.
It wrapped things up, killer song, and hit home the message: its okay to grow up an move on, just don't don't let the memories fade.

Honestly I cannot be more happy and also sad that I was born in the 2000’s. We’ve missed out on some beautiful songs and shows, but a majority of the stuff we’re seeing is pure gold that we won’t see in 10-100 years because cartoons and really just entertainment as a whole is declining in quality rapidly.

Regular Show's ending was the best. That moment right before the end when Season 1 Episode 1's title pops up gives you the ability to re-watch the series over and over, until you were ready to see it through to the end. Exactly like Pops and his battle. Fighting over and over, until he just accepts that what is, will be, and that's the way the world works. Now if you'll excuse, I gotta go cry again.
Until pop kills himself and his brother to keep the world going without restarting.

Regular Show was a fantastic show, full of awesome humor and a surprising amount of great music i for one wouldn't expect in a CN show. The whole Mississippi Queen trip blew me away.

I liked that about it. Was more realistic, which was the vibe the show tried to give off in contrast to its crazy cartoony antics and design. Most people don't end up with their first big crush.

after watching this vid i've come to realize that out of all these shows that i grew up watching and loving i never actually finished any of them and never saw the final episode of any of them which is crazy because as a kid i loved these shows now im 20 and am going to have to go back and rewatch all the last few episodes of all my favorite shows that ib never watched crazy

Me too. I grew up with lots of these shows but with school and exams plus strict parents I never finished most of them . Doesn't also help that cartoon network Africa is slow at releasing new episodes.

I finally finished Regular Show as an adult and I gotta say, it’s so much more amazing than I remembered. The ending had me absolutely sobbing, the loud and ugly kind. It’s an amazing show with an amazing plot and ending. 10/10 would genuinely recommend.
It's strange to think that I remember loving The marvellous misadventures of Flapjack and Courage the Cowardly Dog and somehow not getting nightmares from watching it or getting sacred of it? Even my friend loved these shows, and we talked about Camp Lazlo (man, those days when Camp Lazlo was a morning cartoon and walking up early in the weekend's to watch some cartoons, and the times when at night we got to watch Robot Chicken and Rick and Morty (yes, adult swim) and the Samurai Jack episodes..) and Clarence and TAWOG, Teen titans, Steven Universe, Adventure time and Regular Show and a whole bunch of stuff.
And my brother really loved cartoons and we used to watch Chowder sitting on the carpet, Scooby Doo (the older shows, as it was 2010/11 around then, oh and we had this Scooby Doo Bermuda triangle movie DVD, and those sticker flip-books and powerpuff girls books in the shelves, purple glue and gumball machines seemed like the most fascinating things ever back then), Teen titans, Ben 10, Codename: Kids next door, Foster's home for imaginary friends, Dexter's laboratory. Once my sister and brother and me were sitting on the sofa watching Tom and Jerry and my mom was going to open the front door and I was a jerk enough to run off to do homework that I'm pretty sure I didn't have. My mom was real happy about me 'studying' but I feel like a traitor for running away like that. I don't understand what I had to 'study' anyway so that was ridiculous.
There were the Wild Thornberrys thing from Nickelodeon, I think we watched two of the movies or specials with them, one a separate movie, the other where it was probably a crossover with the Rugrats or something. Oh and Spongebob was the best! We had a cousin who'd downloaded a bunch of Spongebob episodes and we watched so many of them with him from their house's laptop and kids in a learning workshop stood in the sunlight with our water bottles and they talked about a Spongebob special that came out then. Then a few years later, Sponge out of water came and me and my siblings watched it on an old, battered laptop.
I still remember waiting for my parents to pick me up from a cousin's house, watching Powerpuff girls and the grim adventures of billy and mandy on their TV, (they both worked so they took a while to pick me up) it's midnight, and I'm a kid, not worried in the least about the things I'm so worried about now.
I could go on and on and on, about how we drew comics and made a journalism club and Clarence Dollars and Belson bucks were a thing and how my friend managed to draw that painting Courage drew and how we sang songs and referenced and joked about cartoons and many of us had so many brilliant memories because of it. It's.. bizzare, yet it's beautiful.
I talk about the late 90/early 2000 cartoons w my friends too.. it’s depressing how they’re all ending, and these kids grow up on fortnite and shit cartoons
my friends don’t know shit about all the old nostalgic cartoons it fucking sucks to not have any one to rant with about the good ole days

man, i remember i was at my grammas house and saw the commercial for the new cartoon 'Regular Show' i was excited to watch it and became my favorite show. Fast foward a few years later and im crying because Pops just died. As i watched the last few credits, i say "Jolly good show." along with Pops in the end.

A lot of these shows I watched a long time ago, but never realised they truly had endings. I just assumed most of these cartoons suddenly ending with no true intention for a wrapping conclusion, or were cancelled. It's kinda fufilling to know these actaully had endings, though they're dissapointing... even though most of these shows were kinda wtf now that I'm looking at them at an older age.

I’ve seen all of these except for the Batman one and the one with the talking fast food burger, but I completely agree that Scooby Doo Mystery Inc. was one of the best. In fact, I honestly almost completely agree with his entire analysis.
Fun fact about that concept was that Nickelodeon had a standing rule that none of their original cartoons have an estabished ending. That way they can run the show repeadedly.
The flapjack show creeped me out as a kid, had to stop watching it. Grabbed the remote any time I saw it. I stayed with it for awhile as well...

Mr. Chicken While I will agree that the "new" cartoon network isn't as good as the golden age of cartoon network. You're being disingenuous. There are tons of well made shows including: Steven Universe, Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time (ended), Regular Show (ended), and even OK K.O.
I get that you love the golden age of cartoon network because I do too, but there are still great cartoon network shows presently and you know it.

Realizing that Camp Lazlo's speaker talks now I'm thinking "Is the speaker a Sirenhead."
Sadly i know what happened to beast boy. After terra sacrificed herself beastboy fell into an extreme depression where he created this version of terra to cope wiith the fact she was gone. But eventually he started to gonthrough the 5 stages of grief. Except he got stuck in the last stage, sadness. During the acceptance faze his way of excepting her death was to join her by killing himself which was him running into the bright end of the hallway. After this he created this senario in his head where he was with his team and terra was alive but she hated him. In the teen titans verses teen titans go movie he started to forget memories of his old life which than lored him deeper intonthe new teen titans go series.
This might also be unrelated to the original Teen Titans, but there was that 4th dimension episode from Teen Titans GO where Control Freak admits that it was his fault he revamped the show. Again, might be way unrelated, but it's a good reveal.

The Endings from Code Name Kids Next Door and Regular Show Shook me the most
The Notorious Marshall ikr and Mystery Inc. is crazy too for many reasons! One, they aren't dealing with masks, THEY ARE DEALING WITH ACTUAL DARK ENERGY!! Two, they meet their author which is forth wall breaking. I've never seen that in Scooby Doo. And finally, it's an ending to Scooby Doo!!

I gotta be honest, the ending of Mystery Incorporated fricks me up. Like Imagine surviving that level of apocalypse in order to save your home only to end up in a 'perfect' new reality? That sounds okay at first until you consider how uncanny valley that all is. You're now in a new version of your home, you have siblings you never had before, you apparently are known for being good at something that you may not actually have the skill set for, your bad guy parents are your now not bad guy parents and the only parent you ever really had is just your gym teacher... etc. Like if I was in the same shoes as the Mystery inc. gang, I too would have abandoned home with the only remaining people from my previous life there as they are the only TRUE familiarity I have, and made a new life out in the world with them as it wouldn't feel as strange or empty out there as it would staying with "Not-Quite-right" versions of my old life, for better or for worse...

Ending Beast Boy’s season with the one person Beast Boy considered more than just a teammate, and he learns a harsh lesson in the process. A very serious episode, for a serious show. This heartbreak causes Beast Boy to shut down, never wanting to grow up a deal with these feelings, so he always pictures life as a child, every action is a joke. Through his eyes, we view Teen Titans Go
Ryan Alex actually, Beast Boy got 2 seasons (Seasons 2 and 5 both focused on him more than most). Starfire never got a season of her own because the series creators, according to an interview, thought her episodes were so good that they couldn't write a season that measured up to those episodes. I disagree (the puberty episode, Silky's debut, and the prom/Killer Moth one all bit horribly, IMHO), but that's apparently what they thought.
Nicholas Farrell I can understand that logic, considering season 2 was the introduction of Terra. But Silky, and Blackfire, the Prom. I definitely feel this was Starfire’s season.
I actually liked the ending of teen titans because it was almost like terra was a viewer who ended up leaving teen titans to focus on growing up and going to school
They had to be on crack, pot, and LSD all at the same time when they made Teen Titans Go. The original was *WAY* better.

I really didn't like what the series finale writers did with Margaret and Mordecai, because they were already friends all the way back in season 1, and they just completely ignored this for no good reason.
I guess it isn't "WTF" levels, but Courage the Cowardly Dog's ending is very deep and hits you in the feels, especially when you consider the context from the perspective of someone who was just told that their story that they've poured their whole heart and soul into is getting cancelled, and therefore it's "not perfect."

Unless there was another ending episode I don’t know about, I’m pretty sure the last episode is named “Perfect.” This teacher shows up and decides they’re going to educate Courage, and does so by ridiculing him with every mistake he makes. Courage gets haunted by his imperfections and is even kept up at night by them, but gets an epiphany when he sees Eustace and Muriel making mistakes and just rolling with them, and an amusing conversation with a dead fish in the bath tub (it is Courage after all) that he doesn’t need to be perfect because the imperfections make you who you are (or something along those lines. It’s been awhile). He defeats the teacher by answering the questions his own way, rather than trying to follow their example and the way they want him to do it.
I feel it fits Courage as a show really well. Courage was a stunning show in its own regards, even if it didn’t fit the norms for children’s television. CN decided it was too much and dropped the show prematurely, which can be a a pretty big slap to the face for any creator. Instead of trying to make the best, over-encompassing finale episode he can possibly make though, or even trying to change the show to suit CN, the creator finished it beautifully and in the way he wanted to, before moving on to pursuits that hopefully made (and continue to make) him happy :)

Yup! "Perfect" was the last episode in the series :) I remember looking into it a few years ago, because it seemed so...conclusive, almost. Like, it has the same absurdity as all of the other episodes before it, but it's also really, really somber once you think about it. Instead of dealing with mad scientists, aliens, giant feet or something like that, it deals with an almost abstract concept that a lot of people really struggle with in real life, and can relate to a great deal.
It just really seemed like the end to me. And lo and behold, it turned out to be.
...Unless, of course, you consider the CGI reboot episode from a few years ago to be the last episode. I think that was more of a creative project than anything, though.

She wasn't saying that she's just some normal girl who looks like the person Beast Boy remembers, she's saying she's choosing to abandon using her powers. Using her powers caused her to constantly mess up to the point where she was choosing to turn against her friends. She's not being illogical, she just doesn't trust herself as a superhero and leaves it behind.

I'm so glad to find someone else who loved Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated! This is such an amazing show, but so underrated! It was so different, and it was more for teens rather than kids. I loved it, and the ending was amazing.
