Built 2 of these and took them from LA to Denver to build some cabinets for my daughter and her boyfriends new home. They took up very little space in truck with the centipedes and other tools and gear. They were invaluable when breaking down sheet goods, assembling and edge banding. Boyfriend was so impressed on how versatile they were, I had to leave him one table for his future projects. Thanks for sharing your design.

Great idea guys. I’m in San Diego too. I just made one for my job site work. I have to carry it quite far and putting one hand hole in the middle of the top makes it easy to tuck under my arm and pick it up and place it with one hand. It’s going camping with me too!

I started to make one with 1/2 inch birch as suggested but am adding a sheet of 1/4 to bottom because minimum thickness for Parf dogs is 18mm from what I was able to determine. So 3/4 inch may be better if that is one’s intent.

I've just found the centipedes and they look great for my small workshop. I need a assembly table for glue-ups but if I could store it when I don't need it, I saves me a lot of space. Would the centipedes also work fine on a concrete floor which isn't super 100% flat?
The top needs to be dead flat and accurate for mu glue-ups...

Are you going to use it with caterpillar type legs? Here’s what I’d do (and I’m planning to do). I’m going to buy two sets of legs for 61 x61cm tables and make TWO table tops. One side of each table is going to get a 2x4” or 2x3” edge so they can be bolted together. I think I’ll go with the 2x4” because it would accommodate a t-track. (In UK, 2x4s are probably sold as 38mmx89mm.)
This way I can use the tables independently or together. I’ve putting together an apartment workshop, so space is at a premium. It’s at the far end of a spacious living room, and I need to be able to put away and/or hide the workshop. I’ve got 70cm depth to work with because of the puerta to the kitchen, although actual workspace can be bigger (3 meters or more) when everything is open.

I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.
