While Not Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Ronald Banks, Alan Lee and Sean T. Krishnan does a Fantastic Job preforming as Shang Tsung and Quan Chi that they nails the Voice Tones and Sinister Personalities of the Deadly Alliance that honestly I want to see more of Them, these are Villains and Sorcerers we Love to Hate and have a Lovable Devilish Charm.
I agree with you on Alan Lee he does a really good impression of Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa and he killed it as Shang but Quan Chi even though I think his new voice is good it’s definitely gonna take me a while to get used to his new voice for some reason it just doesn’t feel right without Ronald M Banks he was the definitive voice for Quan Chi in my opinion
So many throwbacks to old MK games - Deadly Alliance, Deception. This story was already awesome, but to take us on nostalgia trip like that is just marvelous.
Alan Lee is the greatest successor to Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shang Tsung. Hell, during his audition, he utilized some basic detective work to realize WHO he was auditioning for, and thus he did the Tagawa inflection to get the part.
Is there somewhere where I can like a tweet or article about this cause I'm very intrigue by the 'detective' work he use for the audition. Alan Lee's Shang Tsung is like Darin De Paul's Ardyn Izunia.
I loved Quan Chi's facial reaction to Shang Tsung's brutal murder of Dark Reiko. Even the dark sorcerer of the Netherealm believes Shang Tsung went a bit too far.
You are the only person I can watch MK story mode playthrough of because you understand everything and all the references. Most people playing have only really followed MK X and up and don’t know about older games like Deception, Armageddon, Shaolin Monks and other games so they don’t get certain things or references.

I like the attention to detail that when you fight Dark Shao his label isn't general, it's khan. Because in liu kings timeline there isn't a title called Kahn
