Awe thank you so much, that means so much to me. I appreciate your kind comments and you watching 😊 I've actually had a lot of people tell me they just watch my videos because they like my voice 😊😊😊
Thank you so much Cassie, I swear the palace sparkler glitter is even prettier in person. I want to cover my dining room table in it and do a clear resin top coat. It's a large glass round table. I just dont think I'll be able to keep it dust free though 🤔🤔🤔
@@naptimecreations girl, make a plastic tent around it! That's what I do when I'm putting resin in countertops & it works pretty good. If you do I SO want to see😍😍😍 You got that glitter from Dryer Days right?
@@cassiealesagapeinspiredcre853 that's what I was thinking but its 60 inches. It's a big round. Maybe I can tack some plastic table cloths to the wall and keep it covered that way. 🤔 yep, I got the glitter from dryer days, heres the link to it. www.dryerdaysartstudio.com/sparklers/palace?category=Sparklers
So every time I have done a geode my glitter is sinking. But after watching this video it finally clicked in my head to have plenty clear around the glitter. I will give it another try. Even my mica flakes sunk the other day. So disappointing because I just bought all that glitter and flakes. Well I’ll keep trying. This is absolutely gorgeous😍 I swear if it happens to me again I’m giving up. But I am liking that real transparent look of the resin gold you did and that really helps it to show up too. I’ll try again!
Thanks so much Sherri 💟💟💟 I've had that happen with glitter to me too. I found when I'm done pouring if I put clear on top of the glitter it pushes it down so when you demold it it will show up nicely. Or another thing I like to do is pour in layers. When I'm done with the 1st layer I'll sprinkle glitter on top. Then the next day ill pour a clear layer. That way it doesn't sink and will show up nicely. It just takes longer. I also like to load clear resin with a ton of glitter, like the extra fine glitter and then it will most definitely show up. I load a ton in there. Probably like a tablespoon per 3oz. Keep trying glitter can be tricky sometimes. Especially if it's a chunkier glitter. 💟
Naptime Creations OK, so I’m going to try the layering. But what I was trying is a geode and I wanted it to show up on the top because the mold I use is meant for the top to look pretty. Every time I do it they sink. But I did try this tonight and followed you aclittle closer and I think I got good results. Not sure yet until tomorrow LOL thank you Tish
Naptime Creations Well all the glitter and flakes sunk on those other ones I did. The rosewood and ice blue one. What does what I did at my video today turned out pretty good thanks to you and this video. I’m not giving up, I got a little discouraged with all my glitter I bought wasted but it’s OK. I learned a lot through all of them.
Thank you so much Colleen the sparkler palace glitter is the prettiest glitter. I want to cover my kitchen table in it and do a clear resin top coat 😂😁 I am going to have to try that leaf pen from Michaels, thanks for the tip on that. Have you used it before? Does it have a strong smell? Thanks for watching 💟💟💟
Thanks Mighty, that is such a cool idea. I think I will give it a try 😁😁😁 maybe this weekend, I'll be able to try that. I also just got a new shaker charm mold. It's a slice of pizza 😁🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕😁
Thanks so much for watching and commenting 💜 I use one from Amazon it's a full face respirator but it's no longer available due to the pandemic. Do you have a harbor freight near you? They sell them there. You might be able to find one. I'll try to find one on Amazon that's similar to what I use and I'll add the link in another comment 💜
The 3M full face respirators are marked up 100% more than what I paid for mine 😥 mine was $80-$90 & now they're $189. You might be able to find something comparable that's not the 3M brand. You want to pick a mask that says it filters organic vapor, chemicals etc.
For these coasters I used 16oz of resin, each mold is 4oz. I only used a little bit of the angel white epoxy paste, that's the one that will sink the most because it's super opaque and heavy. It gives you nice wispy effects when it sinks down into the other colors and clear resin. Thanks for watching 💜
Thanks for watching ❤ You don't have to if you don't want too. The craft smart gold gilding paint is permanent so it doesn't scratch off at all. The only thing that takes it off is pure acetone. Sometimes I do another clear coat of resin to seal it in but that's rare 😊

Hi, thanks so much for watching. these molds are by @just4youonlineuk they are larger than most molds shaped like this. they take 4oz each making 16oz total for 4 coasters. If you aren't sure how big your molds are. You can take a glass measuring cup with the oz measurememts marked on the side of the cup and fill it with 4oz water. Then pour the water into your mold. You will be able to tell exactly how many oz your mold is. Then just dump out the water gently dry your mold out with a paper towel. Make sure its 100% dry before you add resin.
Thank you so much, I know the molds are pricey. I know of a similar one that's much more affordable. I'll add another comment with a link to it. I think the entire mold is $8 for all 4
