Well hey man, whatever you're wanting to do with the videos or channel. We're still always here for and wish the best for you in life. Peace be with you!
Would be cool if he tried some not so typical powders for different rifles , like xbr and benchmark for 6.5 to see the speed and accuracy, or those in 300 blkout . Within a safe range of course
I actually laughed out loud when I saw you posted another video. Finally! Don’t know if you realize how many of us look forward to and enjoy your work. I’m sure I speak for more than just me when I say thanks for posting this one and I sincerely hope you can find the enjoyment you once had for doing videos, if not on YT then somewhere else that’s easier to work with. We’d follow you, just let us know where!
Seeing this video made my weekend. We've missed you, bro. Sure hope you decide to keep on making content. You've inspired me to record my reloading journey. Which is funny cause never in a million years did I ever think I'd enjoy not just the reloading and shooting but the filming and editing of the content as well. So on behalf of im site not just myself. I hope you decide to continue making awesome content.
I have missed this content so much. I want to think you'll get your motivation back and come back out swinging, but if that doesn't happen, I'll enjoy whatever videos you upload while they last.
Great to see you again, brother. Hey, whatever you decide is good to go... just know you have made a huge impact on the reloading community and added a great legacy. Your work is excellent.
Well, the video is 3 hours old and has almost 230 comments and over 800 likes. Yes sir, you have touched a lot of people. You have given a great deal of your own time to make these videos. As we get older, our interests change. I have enjoyed the journey through reloading with you Sir. During this journey, I have taken some time off also, life happens everyday. Thank you for including us in your adventures with this channel. You have taught a great many of us a safer way to go about this hobby. That, in and of its self, is a great accomplishment. I have greatly enjoyed it. Yes, I'll be watching every video you put out. I do not ask for more, I'll enjoy and I believe I do understand. Thank you for doing a "farewell tour" There, that's my sappy good bye. Now, let's load up some ammo of your choice and try not to "Blow our faces off!!!". 😆
You couldn't have said it better. I wouldn't be reloading today if not for this channel, period. This channel is incredible and I'm planning on downloading every episode for archival purposes, just in case it ever disappears from the tubes. Johnny - thanks for all the help man, without getting sappy myself - I've watched every video you've posted and I appreciate your take on the subject and how sometimes self deprecating you can be sometimes lol, it does make me laugh that you don't cut out those parts.
As a fellow vet, Kentuckian, and reloader I am glad for the content you have provided. Entertaining, informative and digestible! Hope you find happiness in making videos for us. But if not, I’d be equally happy if you found something else that gave it to you. Hope ya stay, and thank you regardless!
I understand your burnt out and if you decide to leave that’s fine but I really hope you stay. Your videos are awesome. It feels like your just talking to a buddy and laid back atmosphere. I love the knowledge and just seeing all the different types of videos you bring to the table.
Whatever is happening you should always remember the pleasure you have brought to us. There are so many people that look forward to enjoying your channel. If you do quit, you helped me get through redundancy, Covid, a breakup and I learned to reload. Thank you so much. Peace brother. I hope you find a way to enjoy making content and having fun. 🙏
OMG I'm glad you're back. I have missed you brother. I hope you keep doing this. But if you decide not too, just remember we all love you man. Take care of yourself and find your point of joy!!
Glad your back, everyone burns out on something at some point in life and just needs time away. Anyway, I hope you know you have the best reloading channel on YT.
A perfect example of the top reason I love your channel. The tinkering. Oh a roadblock, nope let’s figure it out. Oh another inconvenience, that’s ok, I’ve got a plan for that. Let’s triumph over the adversities
Wow. When Hornaday announced the 22 ARC I thought to myself, I wish JRB was still making videos, because I'd love to see him take a run at that! Good to see you again. Make the best of it!
You are my mentor to reloading. You taught me enough to remove the fear of shooting my face off. So glad you are back and hope it isn't the end. How are the chickens BTW.
Good to see you back. Take care of what you need to take care of. You’ve given us enough knowledge to kind of wander through the forest without you if we must. We don’t want to, but it is possible.
Good to see ya Johnny missed ya brother. Your the reason I reload. I hope you find peace and happiness again and I will miss ya if you leave but all that matters is your happy brother
Also haven’t been shooting much because I can’t afford to replace the primes I use. So save them for deer season. will you do another cooking with Johnny video? Lol
Jonny, long time watcher and first time RUclips commenter. You taught me a lot about reloading. Especially when i initially started. Trying to make heads or tails of many things in reloading. I hope you know you've taught a lot of people, not just myself. This video reminded me of how much i loved watching your videos. You inspired what is now an obsession and passion in reloading. Still to this day i havent found anyone that puts out the style of reloading content you do.
Damn. Just when RUclips stopped me from being able to add any more replies to my "Back for my daily check in", I stopped checking and here you are. GREAT to see you again and glad all is well.
Johnny! Man I am so glad your back! You truly have been missed. Your knowledge and willingness to tinker is what drove me to start reloading myself. If you truly walk away, do so knowing how much you have made an impact on all of us. Thank you for years of teaching and entertainment!
Farewell tour... makes me sad. I went though a terrible divorce in 2017. Your videos helped pull me through it. Not sure that I'd be here now... I understand the new YT rules an the drain that it must be on you. Thanks for helping me through a very most difficult time of my life.
I get you. It seems that watching all the old videos was the only way I could get my mind off everything going on at the time. I hope things work out for you. You just can't give up and keep moving forward.
Hey man, the worst thing I see on youtube is people making videos they don't want to. Make the vids you want to, don't force yourself to be here. But thank you for what you have already done, your presentations are always superb. For the love of God, don't stop shooting, though.
I just wish that we could evolve some kind of economy that suits him. If he has patron subscribers, he feels like he must produce... no fun. And with RUclips, he's just doing it all as a gift. There needs to be an ecosystem where he can just say. I'm bored, have an interesting idea, and could use a few hundred bucks. Maybe back to some occasional live streams? I'll get back on Twitch for it... and if I can find a job soon, kick in some super chats, or whatever they have.
Hey man it's great to have you back even if it's your send off. I have been going through and watching some of the old 308, grendel, and creemoor videos.
Understand the motivation to keep making videos waning, but it sure did make me happy to see this notification. My nephew came over to sight in my dad's old deer rifle that I gave him last year. I hadn't shot a rifle since last deer season myself. Once he was done I verified my rifle was still on and then shot some 0.5" groups out of a 6ARC, 6.5CM, and a 308 and I was kicking myself for not being more motivated to do more rifle reloading and shooting this year.
You could have made a video about "The Best Way to Pick Your Nose" and we would all still be here watching you! It's just good to hear your voice again!
I'm literally watching your 300 Blackout series and wishing you still made videos when I see this on my feed - can't believe my luck! I really enjoy your content and live chats - keep it coming.
He is back. The man is back. My RUclips feed has been missing something and now it is whole again. So glad to have you back. KY deer will be in trouble
Like many here you were the one that helped me get into reloading. I can appreciate the changing times today but I would think your 100k+ subscribers welcome your return and your continuation of videos.
Oh man! Glad you're back! I've been watching your series on 6.5 creedmoor and love those videos. Inspired me to start reloading. Hope you find the inspiration to continue but understand if you don't. The assault on our shooting sports by platforms is terrible.
Haha, me too! I've been going over old videos. What a master! A beginner could get started watching these videos and a novice like me can learn also.I can't speak for anything higher because I don't know, but I m willing to bet that long timers could pick up a thing or two
I really hope you don’t leave RUclips! I realize that you put a lot of time and effort into your presentations, but that’s why they are so informative. Your ‘research’ into what is possible to accomplish is very important to reloaders. The step by step techniques, your explanations as to why you decide to make those steps reminds me of my own reloading experiences. You help new reloaders understand the ART of reloading. The science is printed in reloading books, the art is what makes it fascinating. Please don’t go.
You have been missed sir, so glad that you are doing well. Definitely missed your attention to detail and explanation of our love of reloading. Was definitely interested in your shotgun work as well.
You are such an incredible asset to the reloading community! Would hate to see you go but pray God will lead you in the direction HE would have you go! Thank you for delivering such outstanding content and in such a pleasant way!
Good seeing you again, Johnny. I'm getting ready to spin up and chamber a 257 Roberts Ackley Improved barrel for one of my rifles. Hope you stick around, but I completely understand if you don't upload on RUclips anymore.
Glad your back and didn't blow your face off or something! It's sad to know you might not be making many more great videos happy that we got this 1 for the year!
If I may add my opinion, I greatly appreciate your videos. I don’t often comment on videos viewed but your channel is a favorite of mine and it would be a tragedy to loose your expertise in the area of hand loading cartridges. Please don’t stop filming your reloading, everything you film and produce is greatly appreciated.
Glad to see you come back . Sorry to hear you are not into youtube anymore. You helped a bunch of people start reloading and helped a bunch of people with different loads. Thanks a bunch
Welcome back, You have been missed Your channel is the reason I am sitting here priming 5.56 cases and looking at several hundred 77Grain OTM bullets..... I have worked up 350 legend load for my 20" ar, shoots nice I have been re-watching old Johnny's Reloading Bench vids for months Again Welcome back
Haha. Johnny also started me down the path of a Mk262 clone. I've settled on AA2520. Cutting out primer crimps was a real, learning experience. Swagging just didn't do it!
I cut 200 that night, I just ordered a Swagging die from LEE. I bent as many primers as i got to seat correctly, I gave up after going thru 100 primers @@LDR1100RS
Hey Johnny I rarely post. But if this is your farwell tour. I just want to thank you for all your content. You made me understand reloading, and I wouldn't be the reloader I am without your content. I love 6.5 grendel because of you. And your work on the 77gr 5.56 was a work of art. Thanks again, Johnny.
Seeing you post again is like catching up with an old friend. Just glad to hear you’re doing well. Pretty much everyone I know is in the rut of work/collapse/wake-up/work- none of us have been shooting. I’ll be sad if you split from YT but that’s how it goes for most content creators. Take care of yourself and be happy.
I'm glad to see you back. I think you have one of the best reloading channels on RUclips. I would hate to see you give it up. You have saved me a lot of time on loading work ups and problem solving.
The whole reloading community is glad you made a video. Hope you find your passion for making videos again. I’ve always found you content entertaining and informative. Best wishes
Glad to have you back, I sincerely hope it's not a farewell tour. RUclips has changed, it's not what it used to be. You've been an excellent resource and an inspiration for many aspiring reloaders, myself included. so Thank you Shannon.
Glad you're back. Hope you stick around, your material, information, procedures, explanations, safety concerns -- i could go on -- have been an incredible source for thousands of people. Thank you for everything. Saw the notification come through via the Reloaders Network site, confirmed there was a new video here too. Very cool sporter. If you don't stick with the oppressive Tube, a lot of us would understand. Seriously, thanks for inviting us along for so many projects and adventures.
I've been shooting for almost 50 years and I have never even reloaded a single round of ammunition. But I have watched damn near every one of your videos. I have always thought if I ever get into reloading I can find what I need for simple, well explained guidance on Johnny's Reloading Bench. Your videos take us on a journey and give a real world learning experience. I've been checking my feed for a new video for a while and wondered where you were, it was great to see a new video pop up. Would love for you to keep posting content, as I'm sure most others on here do as well, but if you decide to give it up I want to thank you for all the great content and taking the time to let us learn with you and from you.
Not excited to see ya retire from the videos, but youve given us quite an impressive library of content and your entertaining charachter. And a lot of knowledge peppered throughout, definately thankyou for the effort and education through the years.
Hey there mr. McGillicuddy it made my day today driving home from work seeing you uploaded a new video I’ve had to step away from reloading at times myself so I totally understand Just know this we appreciate you And I hope you can find your mojo again And we see more videos But whatever you decide, Godspeed enjoy life
Take care of yourself first, you've given the reloading community plenty of useful content. If you decide to quit making videos, we understand. If you continue to make videos we're always appreciative of the content
You have single-handedly jump started my reloading hobby like no other person. I have gained so much knowledge from watching your videos this last year. Thank you so much for all you have done for the reloading community. I really hope you find a second wind and continue making videos but if you're burned out on it I think we all totally understand and we wish you nothing but the best of luck. Thank you JRB
So many of us hate to see you go. You have inspired a whole new generation of reloaders and we are very appreciative of all of the work you’ve put in over the years. Your videos are what gave me the confidence and inspiration to start reloading and I still reference them frequently. However, I do know what it’s like to take something you love and turn it into work, so I hold no ill feelings. Take care brother and thank you.
Thank you for all the enjoyable content over the years . Your content will be missed a great deal . But you have done a great service for the reloading community. So Thank you Johnny
Hello from Sweden! As a non shooter looking to get into shooting and handloading I’ve really enjoyed your channels and your videos and sincerely hope you will continue to produce content, at any rate. Wish you all the best whatever way you go.
Holy cow he is alive.
Man its good to see yoi again. We have been missing the reloading and the farm animals.
Bro I have so many questions but I'm glad you are back
@@bilbostackins4874 Me too!
Holy crap!!! Shannon you just made my month!! We have all missed you more than you know. We love you and we're glad to see you again.
You said that right
Your content is what got me into reloading. You definitely made it less intimidating for me. Thank you!!!! I hope you continue to pass your knowledge
Thank you! I found your page after you hiatus. So glad you are back!
Ditto this ^^
I find a 257 Roberts interested

Well said.
Well said, he also came back swinging with an obscure caliber (at least for me here in Sweden), in a bubba’d Arisaka carbine 😅
OMG I'm glad you're back. I have missed you brother. I hope you keep doing this. But if you decide not too, just remember we all love you man. Take care of yourself and find your point of joy!!

A perfect example of the top reason I love your channel. The tinkering.

Congrats on your release. She looked 18 to me.

So happy to see you back. Do whatever you need or want to do. I'll watch whatever you put out.
Not excited to see ya retire from the videos, but youve given us quite an impressive library of content and your entertaining charachter. And a lot of knowledge peppered throughout, definately thankyou for the effort and education through the years.
Hey there mr. McGillicuddy it made my day today driving home from work seeing you uploaded a new video
I’ve had to step away from reloading at times myself so I totally understand
Just know this we appreciate you
And I hope you can find your mojo again
And we see more videos
But whatever you decide, Godspeed enjoy life
Take care of yourself first, you've given the reloading community plenty of useful content.
Welcome back. Please don’t leave YT. Your content is awesome!
Missed you man! We value your insight and down to earth videos.
Great to see a new video, missed your videos!
OH MY GOD HES ACTUALLY ALIVE!!!
Hello from Sweden! As a non shooter looking to get into shooting and handloading I’ve really enjoyed your channels and your videos and sincerely hope you will continue to produce content, at any rate. Wish you all the best whatever way you go.
Your videos have taught me so much, I can’t count the hours I’ve spent watching them. returning with bob is pretty dope.
I've been reloading for 30 years and I usually can find something in your videos to help me improve on my practices. I've really enjoyed your content.
Awesome to see you again Johnny
