Nice production on the video. Not sure where you live, but it isn't anywhere with road salt! That car is clean for its age. My 2014 is rusted all to heck.
It shows you have a round metal washer instead of the supplied green washer, I've heard others say to use the metal one instead, i ask because I just replaced both axles on my 2016 hybrid and before the axle boots got ripped, i was hearing a click everytime i take off and come to a stop, noticeable click, you think I need thicker washers? Good video, straight to the point didn't even need to hear you say anything
I have the same problem as you, did you understand how to solve it? every time I stop and even when I start again I hear the click. someone told me that loctite needed to be added but I'm not sure
They are saying they have a clicking noise now after they replaced their axle when they stop and go. They are asking you what did they do wrong or what is the clicking noise from. @@FoxFaderWorld
@FoxFaderWorld GM from NJ, I attempted replacing the driver's side cv axle on my 2014 yesterday, the axle is stuck (frozen) in the bearing, so I may have to remove the steering knuckle/bearing/cv axle altogether. Do you have any suggestions for removing the knuckle? Any special tools needed for removing the tie rod or ball joint? Thanks!

Thank you very much!! I'm in West Central, Georgia. Yes, no road salt.
Nice work ,but never heard axle joints have problems with fusion for 2013-2020
@@elshadnajafov2083 The boots will eventually leak. My other side has started.
How much fluid was lost when the cv was removed?
@@willdone82 On the right side, zero fluid will be lost. Thanks for your reply!

@@johnmejia573 Not sure what you mean. I certainly moved over the green washer to the new axle. Thanks for your reply.

@RoberthNolostare The problem I had was a busted boot. Not a clicking noise.

Great video! Does the wheel alignment need to be adjusted afterwards?
@geoffreyhandel6230 Great question, and the answer is, absolutely not.

@geoffreyhandel6230 Personally I would try penatrating fluid and an air-hammer first.
Also sir why this axle washer green one required? If will be without it what possible faults or symptoms?
Without it the front end could make strange noises. Hard to describe. I think the channel fordtechmakuloco did a clip on it.
