I prefere concrete halls to pigstep. It reminds me of my lost hardcore first world that i put 3 years of hard work into. Btw i didnt die. I lost it due 2 a glich🙃
A ghast plaster you while you were bridging across lava and you didn't have fire resistant potion? Accidentally hit a zombie pigman (rip zombie pigmen) and all the other pigmen came attacking you?
I was getting netherrack and quartz when literally 5 ghasts all started attacking me Long story short I died about 15 times and lost over half of my stuff
this isn't just the nether theme, it's the nether fortress theme, just imagine you're traveling through this huge fortress in the depths of hell, you've traversed oceans of lava and endless fire, you travel through the endless *concrete halls* on a journey for blaze rods, unfortunately, the fortress is guarded by hundreds of skeletons that can cause your body to rapidly rot and decay whilst you're alive. it's perfectly fitting.
I legit got chills when I first entered the 1.16 Nether in my survival world for the first time. I think what they've done with it is fantastic... it's honestly really captivating. It feels like you're actually in a different world.
You guys exceeded my expectations again! I know how hard this song is to replicate on piano because there's really nothing close to a piano in the song, but you guys smashed 6 runs on this one! Well done, love your music!
By main theme do you mean the theme-‘minecraft’ ,or the one that plays on the title screen? Pls help, cuz if it is the minecraft theme, im having trouble trying to make it out
Could you please consider doing C418 - Alpha, or some of the other nether soundtracks like Dead Voxel? Love this arrangement by the way, I've always thought the nether sound tracks sounded really beautiful and mysterious.
I know you guys have already done this one, but with your own flick to it: M54 from Starbound. Its really calm amd peacefull, I learned it, it opened up a whole new world of piano pieces for me, even a whole new world of games, as I didnt know Starbound before this. I thank you for this. And as I'm into that kind of genre thanks to you, I like the original M54, but can't find a tutorial for it, at least not in synthesia style, if one of you could make it, it would be my pleasure to learn it, even if its too hard. Again, thank you 3000 times. ❤
The Underworld is truly a strange place now... Endless wastes. Deadly volcanic deltas. Cursed, withered deserts. Strange forests, clearly not from this world. Nether wasnt always like this. Once, it was all just netherrack, fire, Fortresses. Netherite processing arrays, massive smelteries. Endless concrete corridors. Flourescent lamps illuminating the structures, two hundred meters tall pillars generating deflection field. Huge walkways, made of nether brick. After The Fall, tall shield generator pillars have slowly degraded and rusted. Falling down in the lava oceans. If someone knew what horrors did the pillars hold from entering... Nether is located in a separate sub-space bubble. Crossing point of worlds. Every world tries to breach in there, since it is the path to all other worlds. The old shield generators stopped just that. Noone could pass the flourescent fields without direct permission. Not even portal or warp in. After all but fiery spirits have withered, noone could open the fields. So Nether stayed preserves for centuries. It was better like that. So much better. Once the generators have fallen, world barrier ceased to exist. Passage was free. Inter-dimensional parasites, in form of large fungus instantly warped. They stay to this day, expanding, in hope to enter other worlds as well. Which they most definetly will. Nothing can stop them now. A little later a terminal acceleration weapon hit there. Forming strange basalt deltas. This weapon was probably a warning shot from an unknown civilization. Glad its still unknown. Most open-minded scientist claim that that shot came from the End, but no civilizations of such grade exist there. Maybe the End City builders finally decided to return. Nether wart mutated. Created massive trees, engulfing half of the Nether. Hog modifications settled there. A strange curse fell on some, endless greed for gold. Only gold. Nothing else, always more. The Fall was not an event modern day scientists and adventurers like to remember. They choose to believe that all the fortresses were magically there. That none of this ever happened. That the netherite refining arrays never even existed. That warped fungus are just a genetic error. That the strange pillars in the depths are not the shield generators. That noone is aiming a terminal acceleration weapon at the Overworld, now defenseless. Its easier to live that way. But the path between worlds is now open. All kinds of horrors will enter. Sooner or later, someone stronger than humans will arrive. And that will be The Second Fall. Just not yet. Nether fell at its prime. Overwold is far from it. Nothing stops the End Fleet to acces our world, of course, if that thing even exists. Rumors speak of capital-grade ships, hundreds of metres in lenght. Made of iron and steel. Hovering above the ground, shooting fire beams below. Impervious to all damage, some report shield generators similar to the remnants in the lava oceans of Nether. Others claim that massive blazes acces the world, setting all miles away from them on fire, then mysteriously dematerialising. Some have even noticed Chorus plants growing in the caves. Barrier really should have stayed.
I always forget how the music in minecraft could turn a menial task like mining coal or grabbing stuff from the nether into something that felt kinda dramatic or even unsettling
I feel like this would still fit in pretty well in, say, the Soul Sand Valleys. it feels hellish, but it also feels dead, empty, like... not a desert, but a wasteland.
The good memories: you just find a nether fortress and you explore it The traumatic memories: -A wither squelettes run after you, then 2, then 3(and some blaze), and you die because you was running in a no issue... -you hit a pigman while there 20 other pigman around, -you heard a ghast blast while you bridging... Did i forget something?
Thank you for doing another Minecraft song! It was very interesting to hear as I am far less familiar with Nether music than I am the rest of the soundtrack. Could you do Taswell next, please?
This is the only Minecraft music that gives me no nostalgia, probably because I was always terrified of the Nether and stayed in the overworld where it was safe as a kid
This is a beatiful song and a beautiful arrangement! Tells a story of hope, of sadness, and confusion. Anyway, can you do it’s raining somewhere else from undertale? Great song, though i dont listen to it anymore.
i remember way back then, when i first heard this (i dont think it existed before this storys time) i automatically thought "oh frick herobrines here" and booked it out of the nether, i then came to realize music doesnt mean that. i still think he at least *was* real, i swear ive seen him. but i dont think he exists now
This sounds like an epic Hanz Zimmer composition, C418 truly is some sort of genius.
Edit: I edited the "was" to "is", C418 isn't dead!
"Was"? Did he die🤔

I prefer dead voxel tbh it just sounds sadder to me
concrete halls is among my favorite minecraft music, it’s pretty underrated too
This is more awesome than I thought it would be.
Reminds me of horrible nether memories...
Tell me about it XD
A ghast plaster you while you were bridging across lava and you didn't have fire resistant potion? Accidentally hit a zombie pigman (rip zombie pigmen) and all the other pigmen came attacking you?

I can imagine...When you listen closely to a song, it SHOCKS you emotionally.

Do you mean Moog City? It sounds similarly to Concrete Halls, but it's not the main theme.

How about The End? That has very beautiful music, on par with Alpha and Sweden
I just lost my uncle four days ago. I love your content and it’d put a smile on my face and maybe even tears if you played a moment apart
