I served in both the navy and the army ( tho not at the same time-LOL ) had fun in both branches,but,really doubled down in the army-LOL. Was enlisted dating female,army officers ( 1st & 2nd Lts ) just never got caught. LOL. Was messing around with my female,platoon sgt ( she was an E-7 and I was a E-5 at that time ) while I was stationed in Korea,we were both single tho. For some reason folks in the army really liked me,don't know why,but,I guess because I very charming,charismatic and made people laugh,a lot. But,because I was fairly popular and charmed the ladies,had a lot of male haters,shouldn't have been surprised tho. Learned these skills while living in a bad-HOOD-in Philly,made all the drug dealer laugh,whenever I saw them,because you can't be angry and laugh at the same time.Endorphins are released when you laugh,get the picture,so I did the same in the military.

They don't realize how short life can be and how quickly time flees. I sometimes wish my dad would have tried to be there for me or just be a part of my life. Parents are important ..having great leadership/managers early in life is so important. It really can make a difference. I am speaking from experience.

He was blown into a palm tree and was in a military hospital over a year. He came home and he worked every day and he was a whiskey drinker. He raised 9 children. He never asked the government for anything. He was proud of his service to this country. He was not a person who kissed his kids or said i love you...but he showed up and was a man who took care of his family. I get upset to hear people playing the victim all the time. Life is hard and you don't have roses and sunshine everyday.
