Along the Wolverhampton flight there used to be a railway line, at the end of this line there is a pile of lumps of concrete with mooring rings embedded in them, for some reason these were removed from the flight and dumped out of sight.

I live within a few miles of some of the oldest canals in the US... but they're nothing like Britain's. They're mostly sluiceways for old textile mills that are now unnavigable walking/jogging/biking trails.

Hi, sorry you probably know this already, but if you tilt the ash bucket slightly you don’t get as much dust. You lay the new ash on the old ash in the bucket and it doesn’t mess up your lungs. Merry Christmas I really like your videos. Gx

Glad to see you've got it locked up. That's always my first worry when someone gets a new bike. Someone tried to nick Collin's bike (Foxes Afloat) from under the pram while they were asleep.
It's moorings for the Holidays, unplanned may they be, a home indeed, well at least it's floating. Repairs to be found, Santa has all parts, it only takes money and a lot of good hearts. Soon new friends to be found, new memories of joy, you narrowboat departs for another adventure, and someone is thinking I made a lot of money on that repair.

Other than that are you now into the 30dasy winter mooring schedule ive heard about or will you have to call CRT and declare aan engineering casualty and ask for a mooring extension. lock chambers look in better condition than on the upper grand union along leicester and northampton (IWA northampton branch adopted it recently) arms the chambers mostly brick have weeds growing in the joints and gates i dont know wether the CRT deweed all the chambers in the winter or they die but its not something i ever remember seeing in the eigties and nineties under BWB but now i am seeing more and more weeded up stone and brick chambers on the system

How do narrow boat owners who move every few days receive their post (mail)? Also if you need to provide a permanent address for say credit cards what would someone in your position do? Thanks for the great vids and insights.
Hiya I watch a few motorhome channels, they use relative's or friends address. I'm sure James uses his mum & dads as they are close to where he is now :)
I use my daughter's address as a postal address. However, I really don't get any mail, other than junk mail. Everything is electronic, and parcels can be delivered to the like s of Amazon lockers, drop off points and collection points. I can honestly say that in the last two years I've had one piece of mail that was semi important!
