- The Department of Education launches its ‘Matatag’ revised K-10 curriculum. The revised curriculum reduces the number of learning areas for students to focus on foundational skills and will now focus on five areas.

Yun sped lagyan nyo ng nararapat na budget, tao din yun mga students dun.
This! Nakakalungkot lang na hindi masyadong nabibigyan ng pansin at pondo ang sped students.
May I ask lang po kung they were able to properly analyze the risks related to the change?
If the education system wasn't corrupt or meant to produce more followers, rather than leaders, then it would make sense to see princes and princesses attending the same schools as everyone.
My suggestion here.... pls if possible remove programs affecting focus on teaching and learning.... why are there many forms of assessment. Deped should and must be free from other programs and studies sponsored by other agencies.... this affect focus such as many forms of assessment.... why not have only 1 or two assessment .... what happend is many programs experiments
in Deped...funded by other countries... affecting learning of competencies.... If Deped will not change its implementation system even this MATATAG program nor effective.... remove programs and thier assessment that are affecting time of teaching and learning resulting implementation of the curriculumn half baked.

Please lmg Sec. VP Sara, sana po ibalik nyo npo ung old curriculum, ung school days to June to March ulit. Maawa nman kau s mga magulang na ngpapaaral. Mas mkakatulong kau kng ibabalik nyo ung dati. Wag n dnklau mgpamodular. Tnuturuan nyo lalo mga estudyante umasa lalo s magulang.

Mahirap na pong alisin yan. Sayang yung dalawang taon na pag-aaral at yung pera na gagamitin para sa grade 11 at 12 pero malaki pong advantage yan dahil naihahanda ang mga estudyante pagdating sa college. Magastos pero importante po talaga ang k to 12.
Philippines is the only country in asia that have k to 10 if thats the case. And angola, and djibouti in africa, is the only one left in the world that have k-10 curriculum
