im so glad I just skimmed over the top part of chimney canopy in my first playthrough. I just went straight through from the wall to sky islands, assumed it was a short transitional area. little did I know.
Can confirm. There were three vultures, like ten scavs, four lizards and a very angry noodlefly at ONCE. Yeah, the wall was suprisingly easy compared to THis.
in my first playthrough i thought the game was linear so i went to industrial then to chimney then to the wall without any intention of backtracking. Then i discovered passages and figured that they had to exist because other paths exist, so i passaged back to outskirts only to go to garbage wastes then to filtration and i got stuck there because it was way harder than i was ready for and i couldnt see. came back a few months later after doing some research and restarted the game and now this is one of my favorite games of all time
the wall is easy when you're monk, not hunter or survivor. the dropwigs make it nearly impossible, even if you have a spear because you have to time your throw perfectly.
I think it’s either the fact that I have countless mods benefiting me, or I just researched the map a bunch, but chimney is usually the easiest region for me- 💀
I mean... The kelp leave you alone as long as you don't make a lot of vibrations, so move slowly and only throw your stun object of choice if they actually start reaching for you
@@caidurkan2916 same here, literally died 100 times up there, but the experience. I came from chimney and the first time I saw the sky, heared lovely arps, I thought that it would be my favourite. First chimney experience was mostly hating the ground because of the thousad lizzards and running to top, where I couldnt go to pebbels nor islands because of karma. Wich also happens in sky islands a lot, but somehow still liked it, even though it was worse for me there
@@ez9566 i love all of sky islands' music, but i hate the area because of how confusing the pathing is, and how it doesn't really serve any purpose outside of spearmaster/saint campaigns. like it doesn't even connect to anywhere and it's just shoved into the top left corner of the map
@@thecreatura993 technically I guess since it's connected to farm arrays, but it still just feels really frustrating to die or get lost in sky islands knowing you could've just gone a different way and had an easier time
To this day i refuse to go into the depths of chimney because once during an expedition i spawned in the gutter and my first objective was in sky islands so i decided to go through chimney. Worst mistake of my life
One of the only times where you'll hear the ENTIRE threat song being played... And its horrifying
and a banger
@@femboygaming64honestly my three favorite games are Minecraft,Terraria, and rain world just because of how good the game AND the music is.
The funny thing is that the Arps and Vox layers aren't playing in this clip, meaning it could get worse
Chimney canopy is where life trained me in living.
im so glad I just skimmed over the top part of chimney canopy in my first playthrough. I just went straight through from the wall to sky islands, assumed it was a short transitional area. little did I know.
Ahh yes Chimney Canopy, Rain World's equivalent to the Spartan Agoge
that's why we don't talk about chimney
We don't talk about chimney
Can't have shit in chimney canopy

Yeah, the wall was suprisingly easy compared to THis.
Chimney on Spearmaster was so bad. Constant vulture and lizard attacks
@@solarprogeny6736 not for me, its was pretty fine tbh

as a person who has went through the entirety of chimney canopy for a grappling worm to scale the wall TWICE i can confirm this is accurate
CC is my normal route to pebbles because shaded has too many spiders, can confirm this title is accurate
Is this why i had most of my deaths in Chimney Canopy and not The Wall subregion?
Same man. The wall was a breeze.

Chimney do be like that
Double-spawned Chimney as starving hunter on shelter failure day with a pup. Been there, done that.
every expedition where i need kill points i go to chimney because literally everything hunts you down there
*sees spawns*
“You playin hunter or some shit?”
*sees strawberry scug*
“Yeah you playin Hunter.”
as a noobie in chimney canopy I can confirm this is 100% true
ive heard at least 5 hours worth of that threat song and it drives me insane
Im in chimney rn. It’s hell
Good luck. Going to the wall or sky islands?
Only in chimney canopy 💀
I think it’s either the fact that I have countless mods benefiting me, or I just researched the map a bunch, but chimney is usually the easiest region for me- 💀
try that again with expedition and hunted bonus
Damn
honestly chimney hasn't been that bad to me, infact i just breezed through it on my way to pebbs about an hour ago
I love chimney and this why lol
chimney entry be like
I love chimney so much! Great to go killing
shaded citadel was pain already with the monster kelps now theres this after?
The kelp part is arguably the shittiest part of the game tho
I mean... The kelp leave you alone as long as you don't make a lot of vibrations, so move slowly and only throw your stun object of choice if they actually start reaching for you
@@tripleaffirmative5p I can do that but still arguably terrified of slightly holding for too long plus I didn't actually bring a stun object
Than you play with the hunter burden… things get a bit insane
I fucking hate chimney canopy
I thought that was a rat on the thumbnail
region rating: chimney or sky islands?
sky islands way harder if you suck at platforming (like me), chimney is at least way less close quarters

Avarage day in ohio
inb4 Ohio is just Rain World
@@OrangeC7 The ohio subregion= filtration. A bunch of black lizards that are really hungry.
yeah there wasnt even a single vulture, easy cycle
