  • Been shooting the St. Patrick Lake Pacific Styk since last spring. So how do I like it? I love it actually! Super fun to shoot but it demands proper form. At least in my hands. Follow along as I do a follow up review.

I received one recently and find it’s the easiest bow to shoot for me and I’m happy about that.

Beautiful bow and great video. Asl bows are usually not cut to center so they often require a weaker arrow than you would expect.

    Archer!
Great Bow perfect arrows almost great form. Please look at this post and watch as you are NOT lining up your draw arm elbow with the point of your arrow and when you don’t you short draw and miss. Go back and watch it and then fix it! Enjoy!!

Yep. I 100% do this. My draw arm elbow is pointed out. Been trying to fix this hat for a long time

    Archers !
To help with coming back to full draw line up your draw arm elbow with the top of your arrow and see if that helps. Enjoy! 🏹🦌☠️

Nice little update. Mine should be coming in June. I switched to a mushin styk.
I plan to do feather to nose too. I find it harder than just a straight clicker, but works pretty well in hunting situations

Adding a longer armguard and slightly bend your bow arm works great to prevent slap. Good vid!

Beautiful bow! Did you have to mod the mounts on the bow quiver to get it to fit? The mounting slots on my Selway strap-on are way to narrow to fit on the fades of my ASL.

Yes I did. I widened out the “C” channels on the mounts with a sharp razor knife.

    That Bow is whisper quiet.

Yes it is. It’s even a little quieter with a lower brace but 7” seems to tune best for me.

Another great video. I just ordered my first hill bow 70 inches. I am surprised that your arrows are 600 spine. And not stiffer

Yeah I tend to shoot better with a weaker arrow. That’s a failing on my part (draw, pluck, etc). Not the bow.
