    On a budget you can advertise in multiple newspapers classifieds under coins and collectibles. "Buying Coins and Collections. Private Buyer Pays More" Large Collections Ok. Call..." Set house and bank calls. Did this for five years and advertised in 30 cities concurrently. In 2008 we began doing hotel buys. 20 a week. $2m a month. Now with my health issues and little time left I love to help people passionate about the biz. Want to start doing buy events Buying from the public for waaaaaaaaayyyy less than Buying from other sellers. These guys are great. Lots of passion. Would love to help anyway I can.

    Drew, in your video, you encourage us to reach out to you if we have some nice coins that we're open to selling. I sent you two emails last August 3rd (2023), w/the second on August 8th as a follow up. In neither did I even get a response from you. So I'm confused to this day: maybe you didn't get the emails; but I set the second one and I know it was correct as it (default-filled to you; then I double-checked it). So this comment is my only other way that I know of to reach out...as I'm still perplexed. If I don't get your response here, I guess I'll assume you don't want us to reach out. Thank you for your videos. I find them informative. James

    How do you know now days this NGC slabs) Coins are not fakes? A lot NGC fakes out there. With PCGS you have more certainty with its NFC technology

      Look up the cert number. Most times the have a bad image to compare. Also, its easy to spot a fake coin when you see them so often.

    That 1880 s MS 65* in the NGC holder---why is the reverse of the coin showing on the "front" of that holder? Shouldn't the obverse be in front?

    • @PRS-qh5jf

      Pretty sure you can specify a reverse holder. If out the reverse on the front of the holder. I have a couple reverse toned coins holdered like that.

My father is a numismatic since 1960 he is a 92 years old man and has thousands of coins , he told me that suddenly about 20 years ago all this toned coins started to appear Lol.

Let me ask You a simple question why before the year 2000 toned coins with rainbow toning, lighting toning etc etc we're very rare? And now they are everywhere ?

    • @Ontario100
      @Ontario100 3 года назад +1

      @@jamesfox3923 Good point! I have heard of people toning coins in the slab. Older slabs are not as air tight as newer ones and can be toned with gas if one understands the chemistry. Also, coins in these older slabs were not photographed by the grading companies. So, that makes this deception easier to perpetuate. I see a lot of toning that looks too good to be true. 👍

    • @OldPrimate
      @OldPrimate 6 месяцев назад

      Just simply untrue. Morgan dollars bag toning for example is very well known. Pull away is a good way to identify this process taking place over decades. Plenty of real information online about this.
      There are plently of AT coins and they are easy to identify.
