I don't think it was necessarily for religious implications on her end but rather how many in the church at the time were a bit too conservative. I know for sure, a lot of people in that day felt that popular christian music was a bit too mainstream.

Daddy was a pastor. He took me to church everyday. Dad died when i was 5 and my whole life changed for the worst. Dealing with grief, mental illness has been the norm, i was suicidal but even in those dark moments, The Jesus that my Daddy introduced me to, was right there. I am alive because of Jesus. My history begun in church, and i will never leave. I will live to teach my kids one day, that the safest place they can ever be is Church and That Jesus is important than anyone! I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a child!!!!!" that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! God is good! ✅✅✅✅✅✅

Wished people would actually read the scriptures and find out the truth about this Jesus character. Isaiah 60 starts off saying the world is in gross darkness and this still holds to this day. This is one of those songs that I listen to just to remind me of the faithfulness of God,i have recently been in jail for 43 days incarcerated because my sister has a restraining order trying to keep me away from Mom and dad and my dad passed away while I was in jail that was very hard to endure but I kept my focus on Jesus Christ and I preached the message of salvation to everyone who God put in my pathway, God is good and don't get me wrong i still love my sisters even though they caused me great pain, Glory to God
