We want a part two and every topic about math or anything you want to make, whenever you can, ofc, and have the time. I love how I don't play games either lol and I'm currently trying to get into coding and related, and you're an inspiration to me, Ellie. Thank you for putting so much effort into everything you do and being someone who shares so much knowledge and your personal experiences. I loved the video 💕as always

The simulation you are developing is so freaking cool. I would love to see more of it, wish you the best. (I know almost nothing about coding but that looks amazing)

My background is very similar to yours. Studied mathematics to masters level, I didn't do physics at Alevel and now I'm about to finish up a Phd on developing algorithms for space surveillance (astrodynamic models + bayesian filters) and that definitely wasn't the dream for younger me either. I absolutely stumbled into this field, it was a case of the coolest sounding project advertised with a supervisor who I wanted to work with kind of thing. I don't have the life long passion and knowledge of space that most seem to have, I absolutely love what I do but it isn't my whole life and this sometimes makes me feel way out of my depth and the imposter syndrome is all too real. I'm finally about to finish and I've been wondering what's next, at times I don't think I belong in the space industry and have been looking to "settle" with a more traditional career (accounting/actuary) but seeing you smashing away at the kind of job that I actually want is super inspiring and hopeful, so thank you!

Interesting answers. I think a maths degree does give you options. I ended up in technical software development after a stint in a get-out-as-soon-as-possible job in the pensions industry. I did my maths degree at the end of the sixties, but I think if a CS course had been available at the time I would have chosen that instead.
I also find most popular maths books don't have enough maths in them. But have you read Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid, by Douglas R Hofstadter. If not, I think you would enjoy it.

About the quewstion with the sapce movies. The Expanse series is very good and it is hard Scifi, so I imagine you'd like it. But it is a series, so it takes a huge amount of time to watch it

Hello Ellie, I am planning to go to York university for mathematics. Do you think it's a good place for maths and do you have a chance of going to Cambridge masters Part III from here?

Tough! You need to do more than memorize textbooks to get into good universities in western countries. Participate in math and science competitions and win awards, have a hobby, get a job and acquire some soft skills as people start working part-time in their teens in western countries. They acquire skills such as team work, time-management etc.

It's great that you are expanding your views on girls and women based on evidence that contradicts your prior views. As an additional suggestion, it might be more appropriate to refer to her as a "woman" and not a "girl", since she is older than 18.
