Lilla vagyok. I make videos in Hungarian for those who are learning this amazing language.
I speak slowly using simple vocabulary.
Both Hungarian and English subtitles help you understand what I'm saying.
🎉Here you find the FREE TRANSCRIPT of the video with a list of vocabulary and some exercises (with solutions)

Thank you so much for this. This is one of the best channels for learning Hungarian. Actually, the best 😊
Köszi🙏😁 nagyon örülök, hogy tetszik
How can 1 word mean so many things! That's madness. 😅
Great video. Subscribed.
my head is exploding right now. Keep trying boys we can make it!!!
Her little giggle after explaining something that my smooth brain just can’t and won’t fully understand is both funny and upsetting. So I can’t just decide to ignore this whole “meg” business and pretend it doesn’t exist then?
I don’t mean to be rude, I’m just joking around. I love the Hungarian language and the deeper I dig the more difficult it becomes. It’s just wild to me…the language is beautiful and mysterious, but I think at this point the only way for me to get any kind of grip on it would be to move to Hungary and go full immersion. The app approach just may not work for me when it comes to this language. Thank you!
“Meg” = “és/plusz”?!!! Hungarian keeps on surprising me 😄 Nagyon tetszik ez a videó! ❤
Finally, I leave Hungary tomorrow, it wouldn't be the same without your video. Please, don't disappear for so long anymore, we were checking your channel all this time and waiting for new videos (I say we, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this). As usual, like and comment before watching!
Hahaha köszi, ez kedves:) igyekszem posztolni, amikor tudok😁
@@HungarianbyHeart ezt tudom, viccesen írtem meg. Köszi.
5:40 Can I say "Nem megtalálom a telefonom"? Would it be a mistake? Wouldn't it mean "I didn't find my phone (but I've tried)"?
Interesting conjunction of the prefix -meg in past and in present tense, we have the same principle in slavic languages, we don't use the prefix in the present, but we can use it in the past tense, like the phrase with no prefix would mean "I was looking for the phone" meanwhile the one with the prefix would mean "I found.." (incomplete and complete action). Is it so in hungarian? Thank you in advance.
The concept of the perfect and imperfect verbs is present in the Hungarian language, too, but it is not so crucial as in the Slavic languages. E. g . perfect verbs may have composite future tense "meg fogom enni a levest" which is prohibited in the Slavic languages.
"I didn't find my phone" = "Nem találtam meg a telefonom."
And @ferencnagy8157 is right, these verbs also exist in future tense 😄 They can be used in past, present or future too.
"Tegnap megcsináltam a magyar házim."
"Mindig megcsinálom a magyar hazim."
"Holnap megcsinálom a magyar házim." /( "Meg fogom csinálni...")
@@ferencnagy8157 thank you. Definitely, it would be exactly and exclusively the imperfect form of verb in Slavic. It's a pleasure that you got what I've meant ha ha
@@HungarianbyHeart thank you. Nem találtam meg..., now this is so obvious, but unfortunately in the appropriate moment I doesn't cross my mind 🙂
i was thinking about ur channel the whole day wondering when the next upload will be, SUPER EXCITED to watch this one ^^
Thsee little words like meg, még always confuse me. This is a brilliant video. Please keep up the good work. P.S. Just bought the transcript. Very helpful indeed.
Very helpful video young lady, thank you very much. Maybe you could make some video about the order of words in a sentence. Like :¨megettem nem ettem meg ;)
Igen, ez jó ötlet😁🙏
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers!!!
If I cancel the subscription now, your quantity of followers will fall again to 3-figure number. 😂

Hi Lilla, why isn't 'telefonom' in the sentence 'nem találom a telefonom' in the accusative case (nem találom a telefonomat)? 😊
Szia:) Both would be good. If you put the possessive ending for 1st and 2nd person, you don't necessarily have to add the accusative "-t" :)
Some more examples:
Szereted a munkád/munkádat?
Megnézed a kertünk/kertünket?
But:
Láttad már Petra kutyáját? (we need the "-t" here)
@@HungarianbyHeart That makes conjugation a little bit easier 😃 Köszi!
