CAPTAIN DRONE, I really like your video on the Camera Drone - SG100 PLUS 2. I ordered the drone with two batteries and used your coupon code and paid $58.13 total. I watch your channel because of your knowledge on drones and RC planes. The SG100 will be my first drone purchase and I like to think I'll use it for fun flying in areas where I will be mountain biking. However, due to the Illegal Immigrants I have seen passing through the large public park in my back yard I'm sure it will come in handy for security and contacting law enforcement. I want to give you some background on myself to help understand where I'm coming from. I'm 72 yrs old, married for 54 years, I'm a retired Police Officer (Sergeant), Vietnam Era Veteran (1971 - 1974) and Retired State Investigator and a Defensive Tactics Instructor. I have updated myself on knowledge on survival tactics and pay close attention to world events. I enjoy watching military and law enforcement training and updates for my survival knowledge. I became interested in AI used in military upgrades and due to the war in Ukraine I believe drones are the future. Drones have changed the way our Military and Law Enforcement are modernizing the way they work. I intend to move into the FPV field of drones and I'm very interested in Infrared and night vision as the Ukranian Military have upped their level of drone use. Could you help with a question In I have in regards to the SG100? Would it be possible to update the forward camera in some way which will enhance clarity? A servo on a quadcopter. Few will understand and acknowledge how rare this is. That servo should be put to the rear props so the quad can fly forward without tilting the nose down. I might have to buy one of these to tear it down and rebuild it because servos are rocket science for Betaflight.
@@JinKee Never used INAV but it seems like I saw a fixed-wing VTOL flight controller for sale somewhere. I just find it odd that tilting rotors and cameras are such a rare feature after all this time.

Captain Drone, Just came in today my SG 100 Plus 2. Fantastic quad! Gee even my wife and two cats were impressed with the drone. I had to enlarge all the accompanying documents for easier reading for this old man. I'm going to change the color to a multi-camouflage on top and a light blue and white color on the bottom. That should make it more difficult to identify from the ground and if someone is attempting to follow the drone it can be landed where the multi-camouflage won't make it easy to find. The lighting is great for evening and night flights. Thank You for your professionalism.
Love the new video,when can we see like a behind the scenes video,and maybe a view of all the drones and rc's u have aquired over the years...maybe like a sit down video with why Capt Drone? Y not Tank Man🤣Plane Master?🤣🤣Just funny examples??
Well Steve it looks like you talked me into giving it a try. Just placed my order.😁 Hopefully it turns out better than the last thing i bought that you reviewed on here. That was the faith mini. I took a bath on that one. It flew a total of 8 min. Before losing power dropping 30ft onto pavement snapping an arm in half. Banggood wouldnt help so i bought a new arm with motor to put on but the body is so brittle. I tried to take it apart but was too afraid to break body tried to contact KOOTAI emailing 3 differnt reps trying to get instructions on how to take apart and no one will even return my email... That was $400plus totally down the drain😢
This one should work perfectly out of the box. I let plenty of technically challenged (never operated a drone before) friends of my wife try it, and they flew it around indoors, banging into things, but had a great time & no damage to drone, walls, body, furniture.
Faith Mini is not so bad except mediocre camera quaility (looks like upscaled to 4K). It even fly past 1km, up into the sky with app fix ;-). Drone is reliable but don't like temperatures below 0C.
Looks cool I ordered it. It’ll replace the lil drone i got at Walmart for $19 for my cats to watch lolol. I also have the DJI FPV, DJI AVATA and Mini Pro 4 your videos got me into flying lol. I’m not the greatest at it yet but truly enjoy it especially the FPV the speed of that one is amazing.
We've come long way from the $399 Spark. (except for camera on this) Will it hold a better camera? It's cheap enough I could land it on a tree or elevation and maybe launch it from elevation

I m having a ball flying these little quads , the f100gp drone without the landing gear and camera is pretty quick so the DEERC d60 is pretty good imo , and copters and RC bashers . The drones do lose connection sometimes , it’s kinds delayed or they just ignore me for a long second or two . ( a long two seconds 😅) .
This thing is actually pretty darn cool. Im surprised you didnt stick the insta in the middle of the top or bottom of this thing. It looks like it was made for it. It looks like a lot of fun for the money. If you didnt have one would you buy it?? Thanks Steve😁👍🇨🇦
i mean in the toy drone world at £42 quid thats cheaper than a holystone hs 210 and its running brushless motors with what seems to be a more than an average chinesium camera and it can fly outdoors 👍
Looks good, but the software is likely Chinese hfun app which is buggy on some phones. Camera will be junk but yes, a decent camera could be added later manually. For the money, it looks worthy. Usually with these sort RC you don't have to use the app and can use the controller directly.
Well i crashed and part of the front nose is gone. I thought about doing some cosmetic surgery to make it look good again maybe black electric tape. Do you think it’d mess with the leveling of the drone?

You can't get FPV goggles for less than $150. let alone a whole kit. The closest you'll get is what's mentioned in this video; a cardboard holder for your smartphone. They do work (I used one when VR apps first came out for smartphones), but it's not nearly as good as proper FPV. There is a signal delay that really does prevent fast flight in tight areas.
It would probably be quicker delivery. It says the same for my area in Canada because it is often shipped by boat to save shipping costs. In reality, to my area it took just under 3 weeks.
The motors aren't powerful enough to break skin. Besides, natural consequences are the best of teachers. Anyone who sticks their fingers into the guarded blades is trying very hard to learn a lesson that should have already been taught by an adult.
This does look wonderful, especially for kids. I remember back in the days of everything being 100% manual and buying my son and myself a pair of mini-helicopters for indoor use. They were very fun, until my son got his tangled in his mother's hair. We were banned from flying when she was home from that point on. I think something liek this would be perfect for an 8-12 year old. It's so cool living in the future. 12 year-old me was astounded by being able to rig a 110 camera to take a single frame from a small rocket when the parachute popped. My High School Electronics Instructor told us that the Geeks would inherit the world. He was not wrong.

I’m not sure this drone would accept updates to the camera or battery. But someone inventive could probably Jerry-rig something workable.

Great! In Canada, it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive items from Banggood as they come by boat. For your area, I have no idea on delivery time.

As shown in the vid.. outdoor flight in wind is 100% possible when in OUTOOR speed mode.
