Urbex: A-PEELING Abandoned Farmhouse
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- This video exploration from my explore in 2015 features a century-old farmhouse that has been abandoned since 2012. It is protected by a Heritage Designation. I noted while exploring that it appeared to be another renovation project gone bust. The land deed itself dates back to 1836 passing through many owners. It used to be a dairy farm in the mid-60s at which time the barn was remodelled and an addition to the farmhouse was constructed. At one point in time, it appears they had bricked in all of the large windows turning it into something less appealing, in my opinion. Thanks for watching! :)

This is one of the last archived videos I’ll be uploading for now. I’ve recently explored an abandoned trailer park I came across in Florida. I’m looking forward to sharing that new video with you soon.
Thank you for returning! 😄
Excited! Looking forward to seeing it.
I always look forward to seeing your uploads ~ Thank you!
I'm so glad you've started posting again, you have been missed!
Can't wait........always love your videos Pam
Am I the only one who misses when Tiki would call the power "hydro"? Love hearing different slang for items!
lol..yes us canucks get razzed by that, its because our electricity for years and years all came from water power, notably Niagara(hydroelectricty)
Moo Cow thought it STILL came from hydroelectricity. Lol
The lone chair... that's where they kept granny!
When Tiki uploads it is a good day! :)
Indeed
Agreed!
Seeing out the window was a really cool way to show the whole property-- so much left here
You are the only explorer that doesn't try to scare your fans. Every video i have watched all the explorers turn into ghost hunters. I want to see just what's inside not some fake run around they do now days. Thank you for coming back!
You should do a top 5 of your most favorite or scariest explores ever. I think there was a couple that looked creepy to me the places you explored
Amazing old farm house must have been beautiful back in the day glad it is protected by a Heritage Designation. I saw evidence of a restoration attempt maybe ran out of funds. Those are a lot of rooms with the step up and step down configuration. Interesting windows with the small sliders on the bottom. Great explore good to see you back again. Love your commentary as you walk around.
Good explore, if only that house could talk, what a story it would tell.
I look forward to many more of your explores Pam! Bring them on!
The white part of the house was an add on done at a later date. That's why the entry to the upstairs bedroom on that side was through the bathroom. The small room at the top of the stairs and the adjoining room were very likely all one at one time. Amazing that the roof is holding up.
Very interesting home with so many rooms with a step up or step down. Finally, that master was only available through the bathroom door. Whatever was one to do when the bathroom was in use? Thanks for the tour.
That's a good question!
I immimmediately hit Like when Tiki has uploaded 🙂
I’m so glad to see you posting again. I was really worried because you disappeared for a while. Glad you are OK and you are back. You are the best on RUclips. I really respect the fact that you preserve everything that you explore.
Given the resources (anyone?!), I’d move in and patch it up. I kind of love the “upstairs, downstairs - just kidding!” thing. I love the quirks. And I love your videos, TikiTrex. Thanks for keeping on. 🙂
I got a funny feeling in the Master Bedroom! A creepy eerie feeling!
What a unique house!
Thank you for sharing!! 👍
Ooooo I liked the windows on that door in the Florida room
Another good one Pam, I Agree about the windows too, Stay safe..
As soon as I click on one of your explores Pam I automatically click the ‘thumbs up’ button as I know it’ll be a good one!
Thank you, Claire! Your support means a lot.
Fantastic old home, great explore!
Hi Tiki👋😁 thanks for sharing your videos, I'll be waiting for a next video, take care and have a good weekend.✌😊
You are awesome girl! By far the best Explorer ever!
Thanks, John!
How I love your explores Pam!
Always good to see your videos! looking forward to seeing your adventures.
Thanks for the adventure. The two step level changes were odd. The outdoor property looked nice.
Awesome video. The person who decorated that house had no taste at all. 😂😂
Beautiful farm house. Still standing tall . But. Looks weird about it. Not a bad one. Only thing is that, whoever owns it should have sold it. But. It's their problem. Thanks for sharing this. God bless 😇 you.
Thanks for uploading and sharing another great video! Can’t wait to see the trailer park one soon!
I get the feeling that house was starting to become dilapidated long before they decided to move out or whatever happened to those people
I’d love to have a chance to do up an old place like this!
Awesome house! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you TikiTrex, love your videos and commentary.
That one looked like a big ol' cottonwood tree. That old Naughty pine door...shame on it! Some old houses used to have panels you could remove to fix a leaky faucet of whatever.
I think the paintballers probably tore the whole thing up. I don't think copper thieves have been there yet. And I was just gonna say...there's the obligatory chair(8-). Thanks for the
tour, Dear Pam(8-).
Great video as always. There are so many classy, lovely houses there that are left. Its so saddening.
Great video, looking forward to the next one.
Shucks, I was hoping there would be an old Corvette in the garage.
Funny, when we closed on our house, there was an old corvette in the garage. The neighbor ran over and insisted whatever was left with the house was ours. She said the car belonged to the lover of the lady who sold us the house. She had been fooling around with that guy, in the house, while her hubby was dying in the other bedroom. We did not keep the car. The past is none of my business
Thanks Pam for this video i think i seen this before i can't wait to see a new video but thanks for this video and i can't wait to see your next video and God Bless you and thanks again.
Is is just me or does it look like there used to be a chimney on the side of the house? Anyway, thanks for posting! You’re one of the best explorers.
I wonder if this house is still standing four years later. Thanks for the tour?
you always seem to find cobwebs and spiders..I bet there was a huge spider that was chewing on that toilet paper :) Thanks for the video!
I think they love me. :)
Some of those room look like the inside of The Overlook Hotel from The Shining.... redrum redrum!
Amazing video and always happy to be a part of your urban exploration team❤
Good to see your back, nice explore 😊
I love your videos your so brave and I love old house to and you do a good job filming your the best
Glad that you're finally back
Awesome Exploration Tiki !!! Please be careful because Canada has not been too kinda to women in the past few years. Be safe and love you and your content 💯💖💖💖💯
@Lvcas There has been alot of attempted abductions and missing women through out Canada in the past few years.
Im new and you have some cool videos.
Thank you for sharing.
Welcome to the channel!
@@TikiTrex Thank you!
Really glad you are back
As of 1:36 I like that place. Watching more it looks like that heater is new and was to be installed in the place. It looks complete with an AC coil etc..? That would be a great place fixed up.
Its been awhile since I heard your voice, its really nice to be back
Good job.
House itself didn't look very bad but it looks to quite close to the road, I guess it would be noisy to live there.
What a large house and just left ...One wonders .It certainly was damp after all the years ... .Great video and I enjoyed so much * Helena
thanks for the video tiki!!
Oh Goody!!. Bless.
Damn, the basement looks creepy 😳
I would love to have a home like that even though I'm by myself I would love to have a home like that right now I'm living in a car can't afford the rent where I'm living at it's just too much so I'm living in a car but dang this would be so fun I would just be so happy to have something like this
I really love going through these places with you.
The basement chair is usually for smoking weed XD
That said, looks like a great place to squat on and take over :P Doesn't look like it's completely un-saveable yet like most places you visit. I didn't see one broken window, even!
Cool video, as always :)
Did you call one room a “Florida Room”? I haven’t heard that term before; maybe because I live in Oregon.
Welcome back
Thank you for the tour Tiki. Sort of a strange layout for the master bedroom, you have to walk thru a bathroom to get into the bedroom.
Take care. Jim
Love your videos.. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your video tiki tracks I enjoy what you do and you explain so much of yourself and how the people lived in how the house was built so one God bless you andKeep sending those videos love them all thank you
Thanks for the tour. You're the best!
This was a beautiful place in its heyday. I agree it's a reno gone bust. You were right that was a lightning rod at 11:50. It's sad it's just sitting there decaying. It would be great if someone bought and and restored it. Great find and great video! Thanks for sharing! It really is an a-pealing place!
Always a pleasure when I see you've posted a video! Thank you!
Great video! If you wanted a more accurate title card you could change it to read "A-peeling". Thank you again for your wonderful content and style.
Oh yeah, that would have worked better spelled that way. Thanks for noticing.
Between you and Janne Flink, I get my urban exploration fix
And I would have loved that pink cabinet in that bathroom.
yes very strange farm house cant wait for some new explores
I am very happy after long long time I can see you . right now just watched the road avonlea part 34 . this is I’ve never seen a beautiful drama . when you say the house was build 1836 I just remember . how canada is beautiful
I would of got one of those huge metal scrapers and just started shaving off all of the rest of that leftover paint in the house
Another awesome job pam! I love the videos title, game me a good laugh! Can't wait for the next! Stay safe and much love!
Nothing in the barns? You have a Facebook page where we can keep up with your doings and future doings?
ready to move in ha ha
The house looked structurally sound to be so old. It looks like the inside could be stripped and turned into a beautiful place. I would like to have seen in the other buildings too! Thanks for the video.
I think a neighbouring farmer was using those outbuildings.
Ok, they did look as if someone was taking care of them. Thanks again
It’s like you knew I was just watching some of your other videos when you uploaded this haha. Love your channel 🏚
It almost looks like this house was added onto. Notice the peeling paint, probably oil based, and other parts are drywall. Where is this farmhouse? Almost looks midwestern.
It's in Ontario, Canada.
Hope you were wearing something on your head that old paint can make you itch . These old houses had more character than today's houses. I don't like seeing children's room's empty it makes me sad. Keep safe.
Very strange layout up stairs. I wouldn’t want to go through the bathroom to get to my bedroom. That was the only door right?
Yes, not very practical.
New TikiTrex video!! YAY!! 😀
Such a nice place with the outbuildings. Shame it isn't restored by someone. Seeks to have electric heat. Only in some rooms. Thank you.
Looked like a place that could have been done up and saved.
Adorei o vídeo, como adoro sua voz, me traz muita paz!
Very cool place
Just my opinion, but that thing looks like someone built the additions with leftover parts...no symmetry, no attempt to blend the old with the new...if I bought that property, I'd drive a bulldozer right through it and start over. Thank you, tikitrex for archiving all the cool, weird and spooky places you visit...
Awesome video!
So I guess that this saying really is true, it doesn’t take long for the paint to peel,
That house was cool but strange
Awesome!
Thanks a million for your likes to my comments. God bless 😇 you and more power and prosperity.
cool
Tiki there are quite a few of your video's I noticed that were removed. Is there any chance you would reupload any of the videos that have been taken down or are they down for good? All of my favorite videos of yours are gone.
" A pealing" 😂
I liked the wallpaper!
Hey Tiki where've you been? Hope you're well!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIKI!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the barn and silo!! Is this in Canada? Do you ever get weird feelings etc when visiting these abandoned properties?
enjoyed
I would of just started to peel off
all of the rest of the paint inside the house
Im like #316 good luck ..
They had to have been living there with it in that shape. No way the paint did that in 3 years!
The climate in Ontario can be quite extreme with frigid winters to very hot humid summers. That can do a lot to a house in a short period of time if not heated/cooled. We see that a lot here.
