Hi i assume you already did your training my question is can someone with no medical background go do the course i found one qut is doing or should i do something else first. I would like to do emt or paramedic im very new to this any help would be appreciated.

I always wanted to be a paramedic. I looked into it and it's a 3-year course in paramedicine. I wanna be one now. not in 3 years hahaha. I have 7 years service with Queensland SES. It's an amazing job if you like variety and interesting events

Sideways Smoke Queensland ambulance is funded by the government, and the paramedics get paid a lot more, whereas St. John is an independent volunteer organisation. Hope that helps :). And Queensland ambulance is only in QLD but St. John is all over Australia and New Zealand.
Sideways Smoke they respond in places like Perth and NZ for some reason (because they don’t have a government ambulance service? Not too sure, but they mostly work at events (such as festivals, concerts, etc..). In times of crisis, they can respond and assist the state ambulance.
Good work good people EX give them more money 100 pr hour ok and 8weeks.hol every 6month full pay #40lode on top and 45.rt.full 95% pay life and a new car every year and. 10K BP card every year Ok lets. Get this going Pm come on mate
Do you know of any similar vehicles that are better? I spent 9 years working out of Sprinter ambulances and reckon they're a great vehicle (if a bit underpowered).
Got an OIC who can't even wear her name badge on the right side. It ALWAYS goes on the right side. Read the QAS policy on wearing the uniform properly.

@@swart121 from memory you need year 12 maths and English and as a recommendation, I would do first aid and CPR as a stepping stone.
