But Rabid, If it's using lower voltage so it would be much efficient compare to 7950X and 3D, right? What was your highest hash rate with your lowest power usage?
G00d day Rabid, lucky MAN! 21 Kh/s on monero is very low! my 5950X are doing 17.5 Kh/s, under 70C... Low power is good for others, I pay 0.04$ Kw/h over here. Will wait before ordering this puppy!. Happy mining 🙂
Wow the hashrates are dissapointing. Was expecting 28-30kh/s prior to launch. Waiting for zen6. For reference, my 7950x3D does 18kh/s at 90watts (software).
Curious question for your 7950X3D I heard from a recent video from a RUclipsr call JayzTwoCents on core parking just saying as I don't know does core parking help to achieve higher or lower kh/s?
@@wolfbrave4866 Its always better to keep all cores unparked in windows. XMRIG will anyways use all cores. Just make sure your CPU hashrate is close to others, use xmrig benchmark site or rabid's data to verify that your CPU is performing close to theirs.
lol it's exactly the same as 7950x when you set the lower multiplier. I have some chips running even x41, 0.87V = 20.13 KHs in XMR @ 135W from the wall. Happy that I did not fomo'ed to this.
@@hardcoredefender1831 That's quite efficient, if it's measured at the wall. Best efficiency I have seen, is from one if my 3950X. 110W @wall (with 2 GPUs idle = take about 10W) doing 15,4 Mh/s. Havent had any 7950X yet.
As someone else said, thanks for taking the kick in the nads on this one for us 🤣 I hope it ends up better, cuz 7950x3D on RX gets 22kH/s at 150w without tweaking. Maybe as I predicted this gen is like going from 3950x to 5950x.. the 7950x gets same hashrate but at slightly more juice so yeah, but I'm using a crap cooler on that one so it might be comparable with a quality cooler.. small efficiency gain and that's all for the 9950x.. certainly not $1000CAD's worth lol edit: also what's with the el cheapocabra retail box?! at least they pretended with the 7950x lol looks like a 5.25" inch diskette box lol

Your 9950x hit Crazy low Voltages? Thoughts on This CPU?
Finally. I kind of like it, but price tag 1k is a bit much... Thank you Rabid for nice review!

@MRX625. Same numbers as here I do have a updated video with comparisons
Thank you for your courage and Canadian wallet 😂
ahaha np
Dude! You are on it every new release! Thank you!
No problem!

What does clock you use for 17,5 kh/s ?
Can't wait to see all the results on your cpu profit calculator
Ya gotta get it fixed and updated with these

It is using less or about the same power as a 7950x3d will compare after I retest 7000 series

One of my 3950X does 15,4 kH/s at 65W (software CPU power reading).
Wait for the optimization of the miner because they still do not work according to the new architecture.
Been waiting for this! Thank you for the vid.
Np
Those PBO numbers point to a promising future with new series of motherboards. I feel the engineers are still in charge at AMD.
Ya will have to wait for one of them

like to see cost per hash per watt for 3950/5950/7950/9950 on same algo and miner

Oh man 😂 I can jump in to get my 7950X now. Microcenter has 7950X3D bundle @699
That was quick rabid
Rabid, Try with lower ram Latacy like 30. It will give you more hashrate. 😉
I heard some MSI board has OOBE PBO settings that'll give the 9950x upto a 20% uplift. Mining just got fun again!
Ya seen that also

Wait for the next zen 5 mobos. Gonna pbo with that
7950x 7950x3d 7900x 7800x3d make all in a excel
getting 25KH on SPR with a 7950XD @104w at the wall and 46C temp
nice video, thanks dude
No problem!
Where is Ghostrider test?
I don't feel bad building my mining farm with 7900x's. Not much better undervolt potential and not a significant difference in hashrates for randomx
I get 48mh at 125 watts on 5950x on verus
How good is a i9-14900k?
Intel isn't very good
i had low expectations and still got disappointed lol

Money well spent 😌
how does the hashrate compare to a 7950x3d?
Testing head to head soon
same hashrates like my epyc 7d12, but little less power needed
my 7950x does better on kcn lcn then that cpu, i had considered buying one but wont bother now
Apparently AMD f*cked up that generation of CPUs 🤧
Ya not to great will see if there new pbo system in x870s fix it or not.
Bought mine for 1.1k cad too. Canada computer sucks
im thinking the 7950x3d is the best processor available now, will see about 9950x3d?
Binaryminer is better than Tnnminer?
Yes

nice cpu. Good thing is you don't need to have it.
Ghost rider?
Gonna take a few days
