Season 3 is also my favourite season and this is probably my fav ep. too, it's so light hearted and fun. No drama no big responsibilities, just the girls having fun in their single life. I have seen this ep. so many times but I never had noticed Miranda dancing like a robot and it is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for pointing it out!
So good moment for Miranda, one of my favorite outfits, Samantha’s blue outfit, Carrie’s hair and earrings and so many more, one of my favorite episodes
I've been watching SATC since I was 11 ( I am now 30) and omg been rewatching it so often lately I had to stop myself before I memorize every line and every outfit and everything, but man oh man these videos you make are sooo good and poignant!! It's watching it all over again with new eyes, the swan lake reference I had not picked up on, as so many other interesting things you brought up in this vid. It only made me want to watch this episode ( and every themed one outside NY ) all over again!!!
Your analysis is incredible! I have a close reading assignment due and this just inspired me how to dig deeper. I have to say that Season 3 of SATC, just watched your last video 🫶🏽, has so many good episodes. The swan lake theme is spot on, I think it’s possible they might have been inspired by it. Cant wait for more of your videos ❤️
sex & the city and mad men are two of my favorite shows. i am amazed how john slattery looked like a 55 year old man throughout the 2000's, 2010's and now in the 20's. he *just* turned 60 last august!
John Slattery also plays Victor Lang in Desparate housewives where he was the Mayor of Fairview, I feel like John Slattery always plays a similar role as a some kind of politican. Btw I love your satc videos, especially this one because it's one of my all time favorite episodes!❤
@@KasiaSopniewskayou should definitely watch it, i rewatch it every year, it’s so addicting especially the first 6 seasons, also barley any commentary vids are made on it which should be a crime

I❤this episode! It’s so fun and relatable. I was single when this episide aired and also working in politics, so it definately resonated. Season 3 really was the best.
I love how uncomfortable the women get when they leave Manhattan, it reminds me of how me and my friends feel/act when we leave our city 😂 That’s so cool that Ricky was also a real firefighter by the way The scene in the bar here JJ and Arthur hit on Charlotte is one of the funniest in my opinion
I wished Roger sterling played Mr Big can you imagine the amount of humor that could be specially with Carrie and Samantha, specifically his character in mad Men is kinda similar to Mr Big status and issues
I love that you too call him Roger Sterling ❤️ and you're right, he would absolutely kill as Mr. Big! Although I wish there was an alternative SATC universe where Bill/Roger stayed longer in the show, dated Carrie, gained more and more political power, and basically become Mr. Bigger Than Mr. Big
@@KasiaSopniewska oh I would love that too 😍 specially he was really charming at first I felt they did him dirty with the kink thing which it was kinda funny too he should have foot fetch though that would be perfect for Carrie he is the one who will take her buying shoes 😂😂😂
those Carrie season 3 looks are so fun like Carrie the swan princess, Carrie in her stoner era (in Hot Child and the City), Carrie as a horse girl, etc.
I just came across your channel and I am loving all things SATC! I really hope you keep doing the reviews all the way through up to the SATC Movie. I honestly love it and it’s one of my comfort flicks. To me it feels like a season of SATC and that it stays true to all the characters and storylines. However, I do not feel the same way with the second movie. For me, the SATC cannon ends at the end of the first movie. Anyways, keep up the good work! ✨
The editing. Commentary and content are so nicely done. 👌 ❤ can write please have more❤❤❤ honestly of you made a clip for each episode I'd probably end up watching all of it 😅 ❤
This has to be one of my favorite episodes because of free they all are outside of the famous Manhattan but to explore a different part of city and they can still be themselves
All episodes are sincerely cool and speciall particularly after a whole era died with the ending of the series. ❤ Past Carrie's drama intensity I still love it dearly and with a lot of nostalgia
Hi dear Kasia! Thank you for your videos. I felt like I just watched and discussed satc with my sweet friend. It was amazing feeling. Esp now when im kinda finding myself without girlfriends. I appreciate your work ❤
I think it was in this same season that the “hot child in the City” episode aired, that one is one of my faves! Could you please analyze that one as well? 😊
The problem with this episode is it conflates 'being rescued' with 'being married/committed' none of the women by this point of the show knows what they want.
The thing mentioned about the show refering to New York and Manhattan as THE place I think has to do with the City even being in the title and kinda being present, as if it is a character. Anyway I like it. And I don't live in NY. Many have talk and write about it. Think about it.
Seasons 2-4 is the peak of the series. And season 3 is the best season. The humor got sharper (but not as cringe as it would later seasons). There was a bit more serialized drama and tension (but it wasn’t as sentimental and cheesy as it would get later). This also feels like the season where their friendships were the most tight and honest. The characters were feeling more fleshed out (but also not as aggravating as they would sometimes become). When I think of the SATC they hooked me and was worthy of becoming a pop culture phenomenon, I often think of this season. And yes, this is one of the show’s few best episodes.
Although at the time of the series there were people that were apolitical. However, Carrie being a political is just like Carrie. She only cares about herself, She doesn't care about any issues that affect anybody other than Carrie. And she wasn't interested in this man until he could give her a ride home (the following week). When they’re watching the bull riding the woman on the bull was wearing the SAME THING Sam was wearing! WHY DIDN’T MIRANDA JUST ASK SAM HOW TO BE MORE CONFIDENT AND SEXY?!?!
