    In theory, abstinence is the best way to avoid pregnancy. However, as teen birth rates in abstinence-only sex education states testify, teenagers don't abstain from sex - no matter what they say to the contrary to their parents. Thus anyone who is actually in favor of reducing the number of abortions, should be in favor of all forms of birth control, their ready/easy accessibility, as well as comprehensive sex education so teenagers (who as statistics have shown repeatedly are going to have sex anyway) won't get pregnant. Birth control is not "permission to have sex" it's simply making sure that *if* sex does occur, the woman/teenage girl won't have to make the decision whether or not to have an abortion - or in several states, have that decision made by their parent as they are not considered legally able to make that decision.

      Im against senselessly creating life. Most women who become pregnant and get abortions didn’t have a condom break on them. They made a dumb decision. I am also against contraceptive pills because they are endocrine disruptors. Most people who take them arent properly educated on the type of things it can do to your body. Thats just shady. Im sure many wkmen on contraceptive pills if they knew how much they could ruin your body would just opt to wear a condom or even abstain.

    Anyone in the UK looking to get hold of some Plan B or Emergency Contraceptive, whether it be used right away or stored for later use; just go down to your local pharmacy and ask for some EHC (Emergency Hormonal Contraception), the pharmacists should know what it means, and since it is an emergency contracteptive, they *should* provide it without proof of age or identification.
    Also, if you're worried about other people hearing you asking for contraceptive, very few people would know that EHC stands for what it does. So don't worry! :P

    Your height can actually change by a few centimeters throughout the day. Most people wake up slightly taller than they were when they went to sleep, because standing up through most of the day compresses your bones slightly, and sleeping horizontally lets them stretch back out again.
    That could be part of an apparently rapid change in height. Your bones might have become more compressed, while your brother's had time to expand.

      While there are many arguments for abortion, the logic in your post makes the argument that some people are better off dead or should never have been born. I disagree vehemently with that notion, but from a purely objective standpoint, the government also disagrees because assisted suicide and active euthanasia are punishable by law to the same degree as murder in the US. So, at least in this case, abortion should not be legal so long as active euthanasia and assisted suicide are illegal.
      Anyway, the point of my original comment was any argument against Plan B would be purely about things that DON'T have to do with being Pro-Life.

      Menea6587 Not true, banning abortion is not a "pro-life" thing, is a "pro-birth" because they only want children to be born, they don't care what happens after that, they don't care about the life that child is going to go through. I'm not exactly agaisn't abortion, i just think people should focus resources and effort trying to support those young parents who decided not to do an abortion, instead of cursing at those who did it.

    • @danielweddell7319
      @danielweddell7319 10 лет назад +4

      The whole abortion debate doesn't just have to deal with whether or not a fetus is a human life itself; something which the medical and scientific community have not yet come to a conclusion over; it is a far more complicated issue that deals with health, privacy, religion, control, and other sexual issues in general.
      It would be disingenuous at best to label abortion exclusively as an issue of "protecting life."

No permanent side effects. and if you are taking Plan B a lot, perhaps time to think about other forms of "Regular" birth control like the IUD with hormone, or the implant, or ring, patch, or pill.

If the sperm don't find an egg in the fallopian tubes at the time of intercourse, they can survive inside you for up to seven days ."

    If the the "plan B" reduces the possibility of implantation by thinning the uterus lining doesn't that help stop implantation even after fertilization? (implantation and fertilization are not the same thing btw.
    Fertilization is the formation of a zygote and it undergoes mitosis/cleavage before entering the uterus as a blastocyte and implants in the uteru's wall which is in-turn implantation)

Sometimes it was a matter them confusing Plan B with RU486, other times it was just not knowing the science behind it. • @Quagthistle
      @Quagthistle 10 лет назад

      Jacob Shuch Excersising also makes the tissue clumps tear off more quickly and in larger clumps, which causes more burning pain (but reduces the overall length of menstration). So, feel free to excersize during your period. It'll make you feel like death warmed over for 1-2 days (not to menton make you pretty dizzy and anemic), but I suppose the small consolation is that you will only feel like crud for a couple of days (not that my period normaly makes me feel like crud for *more* than a couple of days anyway).
      TL;DR - Excersizing during menstration is NOT a good idea. You will bleed much faster (and/or drop bigger "eggs", meaning clumps of blood-soaked tissue) and be considerably more miserable. Trust me. I've done it. Many, many times.

    • @AntiFaGoat
      @AntiFaGoat 8 лет назад +4

      Carley Cudmore Maybe they affect hormones? Antibiotics can kill a lot more than just their target bacteria and our inner bacteria balance affect all kinds of things in your body.

    • @TheBibi7994
      @TheBibi7994 8 лет назад +8

      Carley Cudmore no, they reduced effectiveness due to the fact that antibiotics and birth control pills are metabolised( " digested" ) by enzymes in the liver, once the drug is metabolised , in most cases it becomes inactive. Some antibiotics are able to increase the amount of enzyme that metabolises birth control pills and thus more of the birth control pill will become inactive. Many interactions can occur between drugs and the vast majority is the due to interactions in their metabolism in the liver.

    The Plan B box itself state under Other Information: "this product works mainly by preventing ovulation(egg release). It may also prevent fertilization of a released egg (joining of sperm and egg) or attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterus (implantation)." If you do a google search you can find the image of the box itself to confirm.

      @PortooCalia 11 лет назад +2

      various breathing malfunctions. it has to do with the lungs ,i think when there is more CO2 than normal, but i'm not entirely sure.anyway, you can look it up.that's why it is effective to a)hold your breath for a while-cause when you start breathing again you kinda reboot, b)drink water-swallowing makes you hold your breath,although i personally don't find this very effective, and c)get scared/startled! :) if you are truly startled by something, then again, your breathing instictively reboots,hence you get rid of the hiccups.But there are cases where nothing works-i think the world record for hiccups is a few decades. :/

    I am just curious... how much is Plan B? Is a doc prescription required? I have read some women are using this method as their main form of contraception but i didnt think that was how this RX was supposed to be used

      If you ask for GENERIC Plan B, it's cheaper. Also, if you get your doctor to prescribe the prescription Emergency Contraception Ella, it should be FREE (no copay, no deductible) if you have health insurance. watch our video on Plan B vs. Ella. ruclips.net/video/dwHjmC5qF4E/видео.html

    This is the statement I read from an article about Plan B (morning after pill) take it as you will.
    Teva Pharmaceuticals, the creators of Plan B (the "morning-after pill") has repeatedly asked the FDA to remove its warning label that the drug "may inhibit implantation by altering the endometrium [the inside lining of the uterus]."
    In other words, it can create a bad uterus for implantation to occur, thus, causing miscarry or abortion.
