Hey Tom, Amazing work!!!! thanks for the great video! would it be possible to make the cutting head charangable? so it is possible to attach different tool head, such as led cutting laser, small routers? maybe adding a small DC voltage controller between the tools and CNC controller board? by the way, you have a new subscriber!
I am not a CNC Expert, but I believe you can not do that on this cnc configuration because the firmware is different from a router cnc machine and also the axis on the hot wire cnc is XYZA four axis most cnc router are three axis XYZ. It’s easier to use a router CNC to swap cutting head than a hot wire cnc cutter
@@TOMSHOBBY I see, thanks for the help. Most CNC XYZ cutting heads and XYZ speed are controlled by the PC or host machine, not by the firmware. I put together a simple pre-built CNC router before. The speed of the router was controlled by a speed controller which is a manual DC voltage controller, but XYZ was controlled by pc software setting.
