"Shell want to secure Oryx remains for study" as in we didnt do this before and it ended up horribly wrong with Savathun, its like D2 characters never learn
I have to say, if we bring back the taken king and Savathun and they help us against the witness then we win, we play by our rules, oryx let's us in his throne world and he brings the witness into it, and since savathun can trap the traveler in her throne world the witness won't be able to do anything
The Crown of Sorrow was picked up by Calus to use on the Glykon for his experiments on the Scorn in order to contact The Witness. After that, the Crown is seen being used by Eris Morn in Season of The Haunted, it is very safe to assume the Crown has either been destroyed or is in the possession of The Hidden, an organisation Eris Morn is apart of.
Why? Why the he!! would the lucent hive wanted Oryx back if not as a guardian because they weren't using a ghost to bring him back, the dude is the antithesis of the lucent hive he would killed not only for wielding the light but for reviving him goes against everything he represents
@@PrismaticGeyserr if they revive him with a ghost then yes he wouldn't but they are doing a ritual that's not how light resurrection works, that's hive necromancy he would remember
@@itsjustgusluna6927 We crush a ghost before the encounter starts and there’s a pile of dead ghosts in the dungeon. It’s clear to me that the Lucent Hive were trying to brute force a resurrection using both light and Hive necromancy

I mean they also tried to secure Rhulk body but in the process one guardian sacrificed to make sure Rhulk died for sure
I mean, we didn't get Oryx, and this happens.
Ten bucks the hidden are going to secure oryx body close to savathun and when she finally revives she is going to resurrect her brother
The scary thing is, according to the lore, Oryx's braindead body is still alive and GROWING.
