Happy Holidays! I'm here to expand the amount of Ace Combat game walkthroughs! Air Combat might be the fan least favorite, but it makes you appreciate how far the series have come. Air Combat established a soundtrack that is rather distinct, has a rich selection of planes, offers that simcade experience that will punish you if you're feeling too lucky. This walkthrough shows everything noteworthy within a single playthrough, using all of the planes, showing all of the briefings and, of course, being no damage to begin with. 2:27:42 Oh my God, I remember how I liked being "stuck" here for a few minutes 🤩. And as a child I dreamed of flying on planes with enemy color, and just as probably in multiplayer 🤔. I didn't think it was really possible, and while I have this CD, I have to make my dream come true! And I'm impressed with your persistence and perseverance in gaming!
It's not too intuitive that unlocks are hid behind codes. But yeah, both single and multi-player have different codes to input to unlock enemy paint. Unfortunately, the third person view takes away most of the HUD, putting you in at a disadvantage.
The longer the time spent around the fortress, the higher the chance of the AA guns hitting your plane, that's why the best strategy is to place yourself in a spot where the SAMs would miss. Other than that, it's up to the game's mood to decide if the AAs are going to ruin your day or not. I don't think that "unsafe flying" is a compliment in any shape or form. F-117 is quite literally the slowest plane in the game. This is pretty much THE mission for it, as it's incapable of dogfighting in this game. Aside from barely increasing speed even with full afterburners, 1) flying at a higher speed means you're likely going to miss the targets, as the targeting is finicky; 2) you're likely to get shot at if you are too close or missed the target. Both would void this being no damage and all targets walkthrough. A pretty self-explanatory statement. If the player does not maintain the necessary speed for the plane to fly, the plane will nosedive towards the ground. Too close to the ground and you go boom. IIRC, AC1 does not have a system that warns the player that you're about to stall, so it's up to the player competence to maintain plane's stability. There's no real reason to intentionally stall in PS ACs.

Holy pipeline level batman.
You fucking nailed them all, turned that oil field into a mass grave AND a junkyard.
Felt like an eternity too, since it's one of the longest levels in the game (for 100% completion).
Really good job, very impressive. Those fast-lock SAMs were always a pain in the ass, you made it look easy

Great video man, a really complete playthrough! I just finished the game for the first time these days.
Very impressive walkthrough. 👍 Taking no damage is quite accomplishment as I always end up taking damage in the end-game missions. Well done 👏👏
Thank you! I have another one for AC2! Hoping to make one for AC3 in the future as well.
Однозначно лайк,я ещё помню мой любимый самолёт на котором летал постоянно (YF-23),молодец,зачетное прохождение))
You're pretty good.
This game set me on a path to becoming an Ace Combat fan or "Aces" as we call ourselves.
Was the second game for me!
Ace combat 2 was my first ace combat game but the first one was good butb2 was the best of the best
AC2 got dramatic gameplay, visuals, and soundtrack improvements.
I suppose when people think about PS1 AC, they'd be thinking about either AC2 or AC3.
Well I do have this game too
good video you are god)
Well that's an ... interesting strategy against the Flying Fortress... Meanwhile I was rolling and weaving and looping in my playthrough last year
