    Summary
    1. Sense of Lack or Wanting - it causes emotions/wave in the calm ocean (let it go)
    2. Holistic Releasing - Alternating between the opposites
    3. Diving In - at the core of all emotions is peace.
    4. Welcoming - drop resistance to emotions, allow it, it will either dissolve or disintegrate

    This kept coming up in my feed for months... I finally gave up resistance and watched it. So grateful I did!

    I respect your opinion on the SM and you seem very sincere. I have been working at for over 5 years, during this time I used Cranes for about 10 months, then Dwoskins for year and finally I used Seretan's program for two years and then I went back to Crane until about 2 months ago. ( Crane and Seratan falsely claim to teach the original method exactly as Lester taught it.) Over the past 5 years doing this method I made steady progress but it was very very very slow. And I always wondered how Lester went free in under 3 months.
    Recently having become very discouraged I bought 2 of Lesters CDs, one was from one of his intensives from the early 1980's....and one was from an interview on how he went free when he was in his NY apartment.
    I listened to those audios repeatedly for hours upon hours upon hours, and one big theme I got from Lester is the simplicity and speed of his program....he said "it would takes weeks at most most months to go free".
    I made the commitment to do 1) Exactly as he taught and 2) To do exactly as he did when he went free in his NY penthouse. So I was working on an issue that I was working on for 2 months that I was having no success in releasing ( using Crane's method)....I did it Lester's way,exactly as he instructed and I released it in minutes...under 5 minutes. Had I known this I could have done this in 6-9 months instead of wasting my time with the Crane, Dwoskin and Seratan methods of teaching it... I see so many complaints about how this method stalls and sputters.
    I have come to the realization that they are teaching it wrong, essentially they have reversed how it should be taught....This is disgraceful and it has been about getting as much money as they can.
    How many people would have been healed had they just applied it the right way...with all due respect Lester never got into these multi methods of releasing-its just confusing and causes people to try and think out which method to use or not to use. Levenson said that it all comes down to wanting survival/safety(Pro survival programs) and then break it down to wanting/approval or wanting control and the underlying feeling.
    This method has been completely bastardized.... what a terrible shame

      One more thing, I have studied Levensons life as much as I could for the past 5 years. I even spoke with old students that were in his class. The response was all the same...he is the real deal. All them said he was pure love, true, and could manifest anything.

      I've heard Lester say that feelings are pro-survival programs and everything falls under the category of either wanting approval or wanting control and to keep releasing on those. Is that really all there is to his method?

    I watched this about a month ago. I believe I get it now. I recently had a painful but probably necessary exit out of a job where the two managers were sending me a negative cold distant and unwelcoming, inhospitable vibe. It was a terrible feeling and very distracting. I certainly did not deserve. I tried my best to get along with that manager. I slowly healing from it and feeling better than 2 weeks ago.

      Ted, I'm glad to hear you're making progress. As the mind quiets and healing takes place. Letting go is a key. People are traveling through their own inner journeys. Hard to know what is going on inside others that gives rise to their insensitive behaviors. Our greatest power is to take care of our own inner journey of self-love and care. Then we can respond to others with more calm, clarity and peace, or change jobs if that feels right. But not taking the emotional history with us as luggage. All my best to you, David

      Prajesh, give me a few days. Meanwhile I would say request a sitdown meeting with those people to candidly put all the issues on the table. If they refuse or stonewall or give you a lame excuse then go to your human resources office and ask them to help you resolve the issue with some kind of sitdown meeting. Meanwhile quietly keep searching for other job opportunities. You only live once and no one employer or manager is worth compromising your self-respect or your dignity. Nobody has the right to be rude or nasty toward you. I trust that this helps.

    ...you do it every time you want to sleep but you dont notice it because is very natural and instant and effortlessly ...so you let go your body on bed and you let go mind and sleep takes you....so do the same while you are awake,so body will relax and mind will calm but dont it as a procedure with effort but effortlessly like you do it at night.So simple and you always knew the way and nobody teach you how to go to sleep

    This is wonderfully explained!
    I like the last two, the welcoming method and the 'I' method the most:)
    It seems to me that the Sedona Method in all its different variations are just really about letting be. Letting everything be as it is, without resisting it. Is that correct?

    • @DavidEllzeyAwaken
      @DavidEllzeyAwaken  3 года назад +3

      You are right on target, Zain. Yes, in the end, each of the six ways of The Sedona Method aim toward either letting go or letting be, with transformational results either way, to reveal a deep and abiding sense of peace as our deepest nature. Thanks for your inquiry and all the best, David

      You're correct Marcos. In a way it's accepting the concept of life having opposites, and in accepting both emotional states, there is a relaxation and even at times a resting of the mind and being.

    I love your videos... I hope you don't mind but I mentioned you in my latest video about the Sedona Method. I found your video on the 5th way so helpful - it blew me away so I wanted to share that with my handful of subs. My goal is to be as awake as Lester Levenson was! To keeping letting go until there is nothing left. Did you know Lester? I guess you must have?

    • @DavidEllzeyAwaken
      @DavidEllzeyAwaken  2 года назад +1

      Thank you, Celia, for your kind reference in your video on The Sedona Method. You shared the techniques very well - to serve those who follow you to know a greater freedom. Thank you! I knew Lester only from the retreats when he'd come visit and speak with us. If I may respond to your hope to be awake like Lester? You seem very open and aware. There is a final step where we recognize that we still perceive ourselves as a "someone" who wants to be free. "On a journey, seeking something we lack." This "someone" is the only actual illusory obstacle between an imagined "you" and the realization that freedom is who you are and what is reading these words - free of a limited and imagined separate self. So Lester would say, "Eventually, you must even let go of the one letting go." So you might explore, even in this moment, if you had amnesia and forgot you "wanted freedom like Lester," - what do you discover is already here - simply awaiting this simple effortless realization. You may find what you were looking for. :) Warm wishes to you, David

    All 4 (5) of these ways has its seeds in ancient wisdom. Sedona comes straight from Eastern philosophy. It's just focuses on one aspect (letting go) and is repackaged.

    • @DavidEllzeyAwaken
      @DavidEllzeyAwaken  3 года назад +8

      I would propose that all contemporary teachings of self-knowing are sometimes simply altered for the times in which they appear, but are founded in the perennial and timeless wisdom of the ages. Lester Levenson, the creator of The Sedona Method, had not read any spiritual books as the engineer and scientist he was in the 50's. Yet what he discovered reveals itself as yes, the ancient wisdom of One reality. For 20 years he invited people to know the "I am" presence as their nature. But as can be expected, people's minds would not let that in. So it became the Sedona Method simply as a way for more ears to hear as a technique to gently help the mind unravel itself a bit. With the deepest intent of helping all to know the deepest nature beneath.

      David Hawkins was friends with Lester Levenson. So between them, there's a good chance Hawkins expanded on the principle of letting go and the consciousness chart.
