Just bought one, the watch is great! Regarding the clasp - initially I saw it as a minus and cheap looking for such watch, as well. However, the reason for putting this type of clasp is having the "diver's extension" - it's a functionality of the clasp that you are missing showing in the video. It's not that I'm gonna be diving with the watch, so I would also rather go with the two buttons clips clasps, which look fancier and more expensive (can't argue - they are better looking :)) ...but I guess Tag Heuer decided to go with the functionality here, rather than the fancy looks.
I thought it seemed a strange thing for him to say regarding the clasp. Many Rolex have clasps like that. However I too just bought one of these Tag F1s and it comes with a button clasp, see the website link www.tagheuer.com/gb/en/timepieces/collections/tag-heuer-formula-1/44-mm-calibre-16-automatic/CAZ2010.BA0876.html
I had one of these and found it very hard to see the time when glancing quickly at the watch face. The hands seemed to get lost in the busy surrounds. Otherwise great looking watch.
Carlos yah, nice ignoring the ceramic bezel, the multilayered dial and the overall design language. I’m no fan of TagHeuer, but let’s be fair. Your complaints are somewhat valid, but it’s not the whole story.
I've got this watch. Bought it in 2019. Loving it.
Ive got three Breitling watches and still love this watch.
It's not a "generic movement" but the Valjoux 7750, arguably one of the most legendary chronograph caliber in all swiss watchmaking 😩
Just got one (in blue). Beautiful watch and good weight!
Just bought it, awesome watch.
I had one . Sold it . Regret it. One of the most comfortable I’ve ever known. The time keeping was great.
But quality was not good, wasn´t it?
We all made the same mistake , sold my F1 GMT Batman for dirt cheap
@@stormrider01 it seemed good to me tbh. I’ve has numerous watches and it was better or the same, however I think some tags have been worse quality.
