I will never forget the 1st time I saw this as a child. When Megatron & Decepticons murdered those Autobots I could not BELIEVE WHAT I WAS SEEING! I was awestruck, and for the very 1st time EVER, Optimus Prime used the word 'DESTROY', when he ordered the Dinobots to destroy Devastator. This was the story arc that solidified the Transformers as a cult classic!

When I was little and saw this at the plaza in downtown Laredo Texas, when this song came on was the first time I ever saw an autobot die. It instantly made me realize we would never see certain Transformers in cartoons at that time again
I’m imagining Megatron saying “Die Autobots!” Then Brawn laughs it off, but then Megatron, like that bully in that one Spongebob episode, goes “No, I mean it.”

I’m going to make a huge statement Instruments of Destruction is the best villain song ever written it serves perfectly for the Decepticons as they attack the Autobots in the Transformers The movie this song just fits excellently

The soundtrack to this movie is so killer. Born in ‘93 but grew up watching this movie and it’s still my all time favorite movie, especially animated. The animation style, the story, the incredible cast, and amazing music… fuckin perfection 🤘🏼🙏🏼 love this song and movie so very much
