Nostalgia overload. I played this game for 2 years straight, back in the 2003-2005. Every day on late evening - night. A team of noobs, Teamspeak software for vocal chat, mIRC as text chat to communicate with teams, ClanBase to subscribe at tournaments, Headphones with microphone, my new broadband flat ADSL connection 256kbits/sec, a Logitech MX300 with Icemat mousepad........and we were ready to go. Defeats, victories ... screams ... anger and joy .......a lot of fun. This game will always be unforgettable to me.
@@k_ir3868 Yes, it was a perfect balance between personal skill and teamplay without having 999 weapons, abilites, super abilities and whatever....like nowdays on majority of modern games
@@1StIwY1 A lot of people think quake 3 still is/was the best arena shooter ever made. Well rtcw and ET were based on the quake 3 engine so gameplay was awesome and you would think that wouldnt fit a world war 2 team based shooter but its just the right mix between cool movement stuff and gunplay while still being focused about tactics and the most important was teamplay. 6v6 stopwatch was really cool and managed to have close thriller of games. Well you didnt even have to be in a clan or play 6v6 to experience that. It was really a great game.Never managed to get as big as counterstrike or quake 3 but damn people who didnt play it back then really missed out imo. Also much better than any of that bullshit nowadays I agree.
How the hell did they manager to get the friendly AI's to work exactly? I'm trying to use a similar feature with my Real RTCW mapping experience, but cannot figure out how to integrate them eh, if anything, I'll just download the mod & look in the files for this map and see how they did it in radiant (I hope)

This is the best game that has ever been made, second, if at all, only to RTCW and everyone who says otherwise is not only wrong but an absolute fool.

AI_Partisan is your choise, they friendly to player and fight with other AI_NPC

Yes, it's free. You can download from moddb or steam-workshop. In steam case you only need have original RtCW, RealMod also free.

PC only and this is a add on to a mod called realistic RTCW. To play this mod and it’s add on you need to owned the based game on steam.
Closest you'd get would be RTCW Tides of War for the Original Xbox
