Mold is fascinating historical town. At 6:05 i enjoyed seeing the inside where the mechanics of the bell can be seen. Lots of nice greenery and ancient trees.

Beautiful church. The town has so much to offer. The cat is so cute 🥰 beautiful architecture. Before traveling it was very rare we went to Markets. Our first Market was In Bangkok, Thailand and we loved it. It’s kinda our thing when we visit a country. Another favorite is the outdoor dinning. the camp ground is pretty cool. The hike was lovely. That place is so lush and green. Great video!

This was such a great video!! I am so in awe of being able to find things that are 1000 years old and still standing since the US wasn't even thought of yet. I'd never heard of this mold cape before and am pretty fascinated by it! Congrats to your friends on their retirement. And, that is so cool about the Ukrainian colors at the church! We really like Mold and the surrounding area. We use to stay at a campsite just outside Mold called Fron farm 🚜 😊, was great for our niece and nephew when they were young😊👍. Another fabulous video guys😊👍. We watched on the telly last night. You fitted so much into this one, no wonder it took you 3 weeks to film!😆. That hill was lovely. We had it all to ourselves and really enjoyed just looking out over the lovely view (across Flintshire and over toward you guys!!). I swear someone doesn’t want us to have a drone. Yesterday we went out and a rainstorm descended and obscured the views! We are getting better at it though. We will do your challenge! Yesterday the mountain we climbed was so steep and long that by the time we got home we were so stiff we couldn’t actually reach our feet, let alone do that! Poor Mold, you’ve driven through!! Stick your van in Tesco car park go for a wee wander (but buy some wine in Tescos ) next time you’re venturing into Wales (make sure it’s a Wednesday or a Saturday and you’ll catch the market!!). The reenactment was a bonus on the day. The railway walk is lovely but probably not long enough for you guys. Try Loggerheads just outside, that has a lovely path along the river that you’d enjoy. A wonderful trip around Mold, there were some great shots and a very informative script, most enjoyable. You will undoubtedly not be surprised to hear that I have played Y Pentan and The Griffin many times. I also got to play in a circus tent with Baby Milk Plant on the grounds of Theatr Clwyd. Baby Milk Plant also had a photo shoot on Bailey Hill. I put up the big Theatr Clwyd sign and The Cricket Club signs as well as making them. I love the theatr, though I have not been for a while, the last production that we watched there was 'The Importance of being Earnest', it was fabulous 😀 Like deployed 👍

Sean is from North Wales, but has been in blood brothers for a long time (Liverpool based musical) so I’d call his accent scouse Welsh!! His true accent in north wales but he plays in a scouse accent ! Danny is from Liverpool so a scousers through and through. 🍻

Thanks so much. It was a newspaper article that stated Denbigh the best and Mold second best! Personally we prefer Mold! Thomas isn’t stupid! He works the door most days and the vet is constantly putting on Facebook not to feed him, but people always do! He’s not fat yet, but could well be soon! Stephen what a lovely thing to say. To be honest everything happens for a reason. Without the pandemic there would be no Postcard and a Pint at all. It was covid that forced me onto camera to teach (I hated it, but found it was doable and I had to try and keep the kids spirits up as we went!!). Wills also hated being filmed but is getting more used to it. I think we’d be terrible on a TV show (we swear far too much and balls up so many takes it’s unreal 🤣!). We do like the editing side though so try to keep everything light hearted. Even the crappiest of days and places can be fun (take yesterday for example!! You’ll see that next week). We wish we had your eye for detail and historical knowledge, but we don’t! We love your channel too, you and Yhana are both so lovely and natural on camera. Tom Moore lived in the next village to ours. Great achievement. Absolutely loved the interview with Micky and Sammy. As you know Blood Brothers is our favourite musical. Hahaha - they were lovely. I think we went on a Sunday, they’d just done the morning service and had a christening that afternoon. They were so accommodating and proud of the church. Yes, even the smallest villages tend to have a beautiful churches or chapels. Yes Mold is a lovely town it has a great town centre (something that’s on the decline in the U.K.), but yes Mold isn’t the prettiest of names! Thanks for watching 🍻
The town's real name is "Y Wyddgrug" which means high ,or conspicuous mound, from the Roman name "Mons Altus" During Norman times, when the Motte, and bailey were built, the town was names after the lord "Mohaut" Mold is supposed to be the mis pronunciation of his name by the Welsh
Nice video - I haven’t been to Mold for around 15 years, but I was one of the sixth formers from all over Clwyd (Brynhyfryd, Ruthin) who were shipped to Theatr Clwyd when the Queen came to do the official opening - they showed us “Nicholas and Alexandra”, starring Tom Baker, in the cinema while we waited for her to come round - I’m not sure if that was an appropriate movie for a royal visit!

Blood seems to have quite a lot going for it! I did spot the clothing and hair changes along the way, very clever! Parking at tescos, train line bovril walks behind Lidl, what an epic (few) days! It’s a great little town that is still so busy which is great to see these days! Yup hair and costume changes a plenty in this one. We’re getting better at the drone. Beautiful church. The town has so much to offer. The cat is so cute 🥰 beautiful architecture. Before traveling it was very rare we went to Markets. Our first Market was In Bangkok, Thailand and we loved it. It’s kinda our thing when we visit a country. Another favorite is the outdoor dinning. the camp ground is pretty cool. The hike was lovely. That place is so lush and green. Great video!

This was such a great video!! I am so in awe of being able to find things that are 1000 years old and still standing since the US wasn't even thought of yet. I'd never heard of this mold cape before and am pretty fascinated by it! Congrats to your friends on their retirement. And, that is so cool about the Ukrainian colors at the church! We really like Mold and the surrounding area. We use to stay at a campsite just outside Mold called Fron farm 🚜 😊, was great for our niece and nephew when they were young😊👍. Another fabulous video guys😊👍. We watched on the telly last night. You fitted so much into this one, no wonder it took you 3 weeks to film!😆. The church was beautiful and loved that you could help with the lighting for the Ukrainian people, that's amazing😊🙌. Just anti social work hours getting in the way! Sean and Danny are lovely guys. Sean is actually Welsh, but they’ve been in Blood Brothers for so long I swear Seams accent is now more scouse Welsh! That hill was lovely. We had it all to ourselves and really enjoyed just looking out over the lovely view (across Flintshire and over toward you guys!!). I swear someone doesn’t want us to have a drone. Yesterday we went out and a rainstorm descended and obscured the views! We are getting better at it though. We will do your challenge! Yesterday the mountain we climbed was so steep and long that by the time we got home we were so stiff we couldn’t actually reach our feet, let alone do that! Oh you’re shaming us again! We’ve only ever driven through or past. It certainly looks worth a visit. We thought Wills was holding that sign up for us 🤣 The church was beautiful and we loved the story of the pig! The battle was fierce. I bet it was awesome to be there. Poor Mold, you’ve driven through!! Stick your van in Tesco car park go for a wee wander (but buy some wine in Tescos ) next time you’re venturing into Wales (make sure it’s a Wednesday or a Saturday and you’ll catch the market!!). The reenactment was a bonus on the day. The railway walk is lovely but probably not long enough for you guys. Try Loggerheads just outside, that has a lovely path along the river that you’d enjoy. A wonderful trip around Mold, there were some great shots and a very informative script, most enjoyable.
You will undoubtedly not be surprised to hear that I have played Y Pentan and The Griffin many times. I also got to play in a circus tent with Baby Milk Plant on the grounds of Theatr Clwyd. Baby Milk Plant also had a photo shoot on Bailey Hill. I put up the big Theatr Clwyd sign and The Cricket Club signs as well as making them. I love the theatr, though I have not been for a while, the last production that we watched there was 'The Importance of being Earnest', it was fabulous 😀

Sean is from North Wales, but has been in blood brothers for a long time (Liverpool based musical) so I’d call his accent scouse Welsh!! He works the door most days and the vet is constantly putting on Facebook not to feed him, but people always do! He’s not fat yet, but could well be soon! Stephen what a lovely thing to say. To be honest everything happens for a reason. Without the pandemic there would be no Postcard and a Pint at all. It was covid that forced me onto camera to teach (I hated it, but found it was doable and I had to try and keep the kids spirits up as we went!!). Wills also hated being filmed but is getting more used to it. I think we’d be terrible on a TV show (we swear far too much and balls up so many takes it’s unreal 🤣!). We do like the editing side though so try to keep everything light hearted. Even the crappiest of days and places can be fun (take yesterday for example!! You’ll see that next week). We wish we had your eye for detail and historical knowledge, but we don’t! We love your channel too, you and Yhana are both so lovely and natural on camera. Thank you again for this absolutely lovely comment. We are humbled by it. 🍻

Tom Moore lived in the next village to ours. Great achievement. Absolutely loved the interview with Micky and Sammy. As you know Blood Brothers is our favourite musical. In actual fact I always said there are 2 roles I wanted to perform is Buttons in panto (done, big tick) and Micky from Blood Brothers 😊 need to work on my Scouse first 😂

There are obviously places in Wales we need to see - not sure just seeing Mold on a map would peak my interest but this video makes me want to go - they should pay you to be their tourist board! (Just meeting the Tesco cat would make it worthwhile....just don't tell my dogs... Beautiful church and how cool you found a fair and a battle! So glad you hear you think Bovril is disgusting. As an American living in the UK, I just don't understand a beefy tea. Yuck. And thank you for saying it was filmed over time, you were wearing me out!!

Hahaha - they were lovely. I think we went on a Sunday, they’d just done the morning service and had a christening that afternoon. They were so accommodating and proud of the church. Also when Wills asked to record the bells, again they were really accommodating. Go check it out, it’s lovely in there. Cheers for watching 🍻

The church was really lovely with all that stained glass, it's amazing to me that small towns in the UK have these incredible churches. Mold seems to be a nice town but with an unfortunate name!
Yes, even the smallest villages tend to have a beautiful churches or chapels. Yes Mold is a lovely town it has a great town centre (something that’s on the decline in the U.K.), but yes Mold isn’t the prettiest of names! Thanks for watching 🍻
But in the UK, the green growth is differently spelled “Mould”.
The town's real name is "Y Wyddgrug" which means high ,or conspicuous mound, from the Roman name "Mons Altus" During Norman times, when the Motte, and bailey were built, the town was names after the lord "Mohaut" Mold is supposed to be the mis pronunciation of his name by the Welsh
Nice video - I haven’t been to Mold for around 15 years, but I was one of the sixth formers from all over Clwyd (Brynhyfryd, Ruthin) who were shipped to Theatr Clwyd when the Queen came to do the official opening - they showed us “Nicholas and Alexandra”, starring Tom Baker, in the cinema while we waited for her to come round - I’m not sure if that was an appropriate movie for a royal visit!
