I echo those sentiments and had the opportunity of seeing her perform live five times...and having the pleasure of meeting her twice...The last time being for her 40th anniversary tour in 2008, in Kelowna, BC.. Her concerts were always wonderful and she was always very appreciative and good to her fans. : )
I came across this Anne Murray show just now and I became so engrossed. Apart from her very captivating voice, she is very natural keeping you entertained and every song will bring you comfort. I grew up under the daughters of charity too here in the Philippines. I really like Anne Murray now. From a 73 years old senior citizen from the Philippines.
Just WOW! Didn't know there is a "TV show" of these songs performed live here because I have these on CD "What a Wonderful World." About 15 years ago I picked this CD at a second-hand store, I put it on my car's CD player and listened, and the more and more I listened I really got hooked. Each song was an inspiration! There was "something" there! It kept me sane to say the least because at that time my life had gotten so low, too depressed, my heart was broken in pieces from that thing we all called L.O.V.E. But with these CD, and with Anne's singing ability and soothing delivery, lifted my spirit everyday (without doubt!) whether I'm in my car driving to work, or just driving around on my days off (this happened in San Diego!). What a gift Anne Murray had given me at that time! Nothing compares! Anyhow, I've always been a fan ever since "You Needed Me" shot the airwaves. Big Thanks for the upload, and the lyrics on screen is a big plus, too! :-)

Presbyterian church was my first childhood church. And I remember it just as it was right now.. It's like a church with a cemetery around it and the primary school right behind it. I have a lot my early childhood day there in the sorrurroding are the basic school kindergarten, and the citrus farm of ever kinds of citrus that you can imagine. The navel oranges, ugly fruit , grapefruits and tangerines. They would have people to picked the fruits and made piles on the street for trucks to pulled it to the juice factories. Gone are all those wonderful days of my life.

I´m sixty-one and I just discovered Anne Murray, because I noticed how happy Stewie (Family Guy) was from hearing her on the car-radio. So glad I checked her out, should have done that years ago. What an amazing amazon!
Søren Kristensen Hi. While all of her albums are terrific may I suggest two in particular? “Let’s keep it that way” and “Heart over mind.” They are from two different decades, (the 70s and 80s) respectively. And the both represent some of her best singing and material.
I remember hearing this as a 7yr old child in 1970. Always imagined walking through a meadow barefooted & looking up at the clouds when I hear this song. So calm , peaceful & such a beautiful voice . She’s one of my favorite singer/ musicians.
Her father was my grandmother's doctor and delivered my uncle. My grandmother worked in Soringhill and cooked for the men that worked in the mines. She arrived in the Carpathian. She has an amazing voice, my favourite is Shall We Have This Dance. Her daughter has a beautiful voice and I am hoping that she has the same life long career has her mom. Good Luck Dawn. You have a beautiful voice....May God grant you a long , success career like your mom. I wish her a happy retirement, but I will miss her voice. But I can always listen to her. I just finished watching RSVP on youtube. Whenever I hear you, it brings back a happy memory, I was a young (well younger) Canadian living in Albany NY. You performed in Glens Falls and I was so proud of you and just knowing you are Canadian meant so much to me. I'm now 81 and am still proud.
I bought the double cd. It was stolen from my apartment by the apartment manager's boyfriend. When I paid my rent the next time, she gave me a gift... The same double album. Not the vacuum or the rent receipts. They had been keeping the rents from the management company. Management company wasn't too happy with me. But another organization had been paying 2 management companies on my behalf for the same apartment. Crime pays some people for a while. At least I got the album back and one of my best friends and I got to see Anne Murray in concert.
