      That would require someone to play a Tretch

    About Kislev. Armored Kossars (with shields) perform well in a checkerboard formation, especially at the start. put them at the front and they will fire a couple of shots and withstand attacks for a long time. Although now yes you can replace them with infantry with spears, BUT, their delivery is pumped up to T3, so I build one of these in each region to quickly gain 10 and hire archers globally in 1 turn in armies that are at the front or have suffered heavy losses. Also, with the “Tsar guard”, when a special building is built, which reduces the time of their hiring, they can be hired globally in 1 turn. In fact, I very rarely hire them conventionally. However, here you have to actively fight and earn money through battles because the economy is a little weaker.

    I kind of disagree with the Bretonian 's infantry being targeted as useless. But maybe, it's because of my playstyle. In fact, I strongly dislike making doomstacks or repetitive same number of included units in my armies. So taking the example of Bretonia, I don't find some of their infantry useless. Ok there is a lot of trash, like the squire. But take a look at the men at arms with shield and spear variant, they are pretty good to hold the line. Ok they do potato damage, but they can hold with the paladins, to save more time as needed to make the anvil to your cavalry, supported by the arrows of your archers. I also like the pilgrim, they got decent armor and leadership with shields to hold the line. See bretonia's infantry as mediocre damage dealer but decent tank line. Ok they will cry when they will face something like chosen of Khorne or big monster coming into their asses, but most of the time its decent. In general, my Bretonia armies are like: 3 men at arms with spear shielded, 2 pilgrims, 5 to 6 archers, 4 or 5 elite cavalry units, then the rest is composed of one spell caster, some paladins, and then trebuchet or pegasus knights. This is my army mid to late game, and also I like to expand fast and quick to make good numbers of peasants available for my faction, and abuse the no upkeep penalty by making a lot of armies and single lords to follow those armies right at the start of my bretonian campaigns. This is my strategy in legendary, and it works perfectly for me, but I understand that everyone has a different playstyle.

    Tier 4 non-mosnter cav can fuck of in this game . They should put do many units down a tier or 2. The exception here is britonia . If you want a strong frontline just use your cav instead they have more holding power. You can skip all infantry except the ranged ones for britonia

    The only one that I would disagree here would be terracotta sentinels and longma riders. You should NEVER use Longma riders as a melee cavalry other than to counter small aerial units, but it can be very effective as a flanking unit and taking out enemy artillery. But you might get better value by recruiting other units instead of these. Jade Lancers are okay melee cavalry, but again as you said CAthay has very good infantry and artillery. Terracotta sentinels are very tanky units and I would absolutely recruit them, since 1 v 1 they seem to wreck most if not all of single monster units.
    But I am fully aware that you are vastly better than me at Warhammer 3, so I am not here to say you're wrong.

    In my opinion, different opponents suit different army builds. An army that's good against chaos might get torn to shreds by Wood Elves. Not to mention doing things like spamming Kossars is boring.

    I agree with almost every point, and can understand where we disagree. Also, it sucks that we now have to wait so long for a kislev update that could fix their building issues... by the time i could get a slot for streltsy or gryphon legion im going for ice guard and bears... a dlc with more units to flesh out these buildings and to compete with kossar dominance would be great, especially for heroes.

      I was thinking the same thing when making the video, if they had more worthwhile units that were better placed it would have been better. As it stands I think they have too many recruitment buildings, and their units are spread too thinly among them.

    Yay, I love these kind of videos! That being said, I'm quite suprised with your opinions on Kislev and Bretonnia.
    Armored Kossars and especially Streltsi are some of the best units in the roster, I think you're over estimating warriors and underestimating AKs. I was hoping you'd take the steltsi pill :(
    As for Bretonnia I generally agree but I think Battle Pilgrims are an exception. They have a freakishly high leadership (almost on par with longbeards) and frenzy. I've seen them hold until the last man against crazy odds.
    What races will you do next, I wonder?

    Chariots for norsca can be really good you can take out 5-6 stack of units with a single chariot. If you stop before attacking and aait for them to attack you you will deal collosal collision damage as high as 70% of enemy units hp if its light infantry

    Glorious Charge is amazing and you're doing yourself a disservice by not keeping around a pair of Winged Lancers/Gryphon Legion.

    • @CultistOfkhorne
      @CultistOfkhorne  4 месяца назад

      I tried it, I even tried making a doomstack out of the gryphon legion, but it is really a negligible buff. I forgot what it is called, but it is nowhere even near as useful as the charge ability khorne bloodcrushers ror gets, where it gives you charge speed and mass, now that one is amazing.

    With Cathay you can use flying monsters and sky junks to build air force with alcemist having item that gives stalk to ground army.

  • @Dejawolfs
    @Dejawolfs 4 месяца назад +1

    dragons are great for sieges. use them to cycle charge units on walls. same with most flying units really. use them to cycle charge units on walls. you can clean out an entire unit of chosen in less than 10 seconds by charging it with 3 dragons on a wall, and taking no damage.
    even chosen with halberds will get completely washed away with a good charge, since theyll be tossed off the walls and get killed when they hit the ground.

      It is really bad I agree, but as I said, that is the fastest unit you can get with siege attacker, so get 1 in your army and you are good, as the next one you can get is the little grom at tier 4.

    Sorry but Kislev take is so wrong. Kislev main strength for some reason is globally recruiting everything in one turn. So you only need one baracks in minor sentlement and for tsar and cavarly you get from special buildings from cities which you need to have. Armored Kossars punch way above their weight class, with all melee and ranged buffs they melt shit in both melee and range and can recruit them almost full stack in 1 turn.

    • @CultistOfkhorne
      @CultistOfkhorne  4 месяца назад

      Oke, you can globally recruit units in 1 turn after you fully develop Prag and research the corresponding technology, so lets be generous and say 60 turns into your campaign. What are you going to do the first 59 turns? The unique landmarks are for just those specific provinces, what happens when you move away and need to recruit an army far away? Are you going to recruit an army in the province where it is faster to recruit just so it takes you 10 turns to reach the front lines? And why would I recruit armored Kossars when regular ones are cheaper, don't require the barracks so I can get income instead, and are as strong as the armored variant, just in different ways?

    • @miloradlukic9277
      @miloradlukic9277 4 месяца назад +3

      @@CultistOfkhorne not even close as strong, AK are on par with chaos warriors with missile strength of crossbow unit. And game is not only 50 turns. With Kislev you aim to snowball and aim as much territory, regular Kossars will not cut it alone once you start dealing with armored units. And the problem or blessing with Kislev is that regular Kossars are probably top 3 strongest tier 0 unit so you end up filling armies with them even after 100 turn. Doesnt make rest of the roster not worth it. I say give it a go, make a army of them and akshina, witch, patriarch and one little grom. I think they can deal with any army no matter how strong

    • @Dejawolfs
      @Dejawolfs 4 месяца назад

      @@miloradlukic9277 dunno, by turn 50 i have usually already won my campaign on legendary difficulty. the rest is just mop-up. my mainstay is regular kossars, and with strongholder trait farm, your basic kossars will have ridiculous melee defence, so you wait for enemy to attack, destroy them, take their land, rince repeat. then by turn 50 i can recruit ice guard. by this time you shouldve gotten some ice witches which buffs ranged, and ice guard, and then you can steamroll everything.
