Vlog 12 (Part 1): Singapore Living, Lure Fishing At D’Best Pasir Ris, Multiple Hits, Catch & Release

- A simple life vlog, living and fishing in Singapore.
Nice & windy morning, made breakfast with Four Leaves bread before it started to rain. Grabbed economic rice lunch before tidying up the fishing gear. Met my girlfriend for dinner before we had a yummy mango sticky rice dessert made by a close friend. Met the folks the next day for brunch. Had 928 Yishun Laksa and Tau Suan dessert. Coffee back at home before preparing for fishing at D'Best Pasir Ris with Nigel. Started to rain when I left the house. Managed to start fishing a bit later than expected once the rain stopped. Blessed with an awesome session of hits & misses. This is just Part 1! Look out for Part 2 on the conclusion of an awesome day out fishing!

how does pointing the rod tip down prevent the Barra From jumping ?
Thanks for the comment! Barra tend to jump and throw hooks hence by pointing the rod tip down when reeling it in on a tight line, you are “forcing” or directing the fish’s head down. It won’t work 100% of the time but it definitely helps reduce the tendency of the fish jumping multiple times during the fight, which if it happens, increases the chances of the fish throwing the hooks. Hope this helps ✌️
