Up...(currently at an un/Godly hour) I am sitting at my easel painting while listening to "The Best of My Love" along with "Hotel California" on repeat....watching them in older videos no one would ever argue that they were creating perfection together becomeing legends for the rest of time......how beautiful.
Randy deserved so much better than the way they treated him. He was the Best of my Love .
Probably the best line-up of the band ever and gone so soon after this performance. Randy's vocals soaring above everybody else made their sound so special and nobody could ever replace him. So sad that both Randy and Glenn have gone forever now. R.I.P. Thank you for the music.

I couldn't have said it any better, my friend. I have always enjoyed their music so much, but now, it's twinged with a little bit of sadness since they've left this world. Damn, I hate that we're all getting old, but so very thankful that we were alive and grooving when the music was "right on"! Those days are gone forever, and kids nowadays have no clue what real music is...long live rock and rock!

@@mrpapakcThere’s still lots of music being made, go to live clubs & see them. Was in downtown Nashville, TN over Thanksgiving. I was dancing down the sidewalks to the sounds of live music pouring out of the clubs/restaurants doors-windows.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but in my opinion, the Eagles need to release the FULL concert recording of the March 21, 1977 performance at the Capital Centre. Not just the 8 songs that were on the bonus disc of “History of the Eagles” documentary DVD.

Randy's voice and harmonies had a special quality that Timothy doesn't match.
In my opinion Randy Meisner had the best voice in the group. Its too bad that he was led to believe he was an equal member and gave different ideas how to deliver a song. Thats how he got fired. Sad to see because together they were the best of the best. Its the 1977 concert that brings the best performance.
Eagles don't do flawed performances.

47 years ago! The year I graduated HS. Crazy how time flies. RIP Glenn and Randy. Was fortunate to see the band twice. Once before Glenn passed and then with his son Deacon. Awesome harmonies
Absolutely wonderful, the Eagles in perfection, every single one was great. But especially on this song, Randy's voice floats above everything, it almost blows me away. The Eagles are one of those bands that I can listen to over and over again and am fascinated every time.

@@dero9711 Definitely. With that songwriting and voice tho…BUT Felder was the best all-around musician in the band IMO. 100% guaranteed none of the others could play pedal steel. That instrument is a beast. Like a godamned Time Machine looking thing with all its levers and foot pedals🤣

You can watch it in History of the Eagles documentary. It’s not the entire concert though - there’s 45 minutes of footage
I grew up with the Eagles since I was a baby with my grandfather, I am now 15 years old and I still cherish the Eagles with my grandfather in heaven. I saw them this February and I will forever cherish that day.
Have only seen them once and it was an awesome concert.
Always a great performance.

How much money does this dude need? He wouldn't have amounted to shit without the other band members. Show some grace in your old age, henley: Stop taking down great live videos because the spotlight was on Randy or another talented Eagle. And give ALL the Eagles the credit they're due.
