I am fan of rail travel I just saw ur Jabalpur to balaghat by journey in my train travel from ernakulam to belgaum l liked your vedio I feel as I am traveling by by train n enjoyed beauty thanks vasant
I travelled by this train during the year 1952 to 1962. We used to go to nagpur to catch Bombay mail (29 down). I left chhindwara in1962 and settled in bengal. This vdo took me to those old days which I still cherish in my mind. Thanks for the video.
Wonderful and nice coverage of greenery with NG baby diesel engine train. This train is having speed more than 40km/hr at many places. Hardwork. Thanks.
Jab ye video start hua to isme train ka khatar khatar ke sound me hi hum kho gaya.. Lag raha Tha ki phir is train me pahuch gaya... Bahut shaandar.. Miss you.. Choti line
i travelled in this train during last week of October 2015 from nainpur to balaghat. just few days before megablock for gauge conversion. now very nostalgic. excellent video.
Ar Meri nani k Ghar k pas eska bridge tha toh mein Roz hr ek train k horn p us bridge k pas jakr train dekhta tha and yes we used to call it "Choti Line"
Recently I travel to Mandla nainpur and Balaghat by road. I missed narrow gauge train. It was heart broking emotions for me. Broad gauge construction kills lots of huge trees.
Unfortunately, I live 7000 km from you. I like Indian railways very much especially the narrow gauge ones. The 762mm gauge is not small considering the length of the trains running through it. It is a pity that little by little they are disappearing. I like your video very much like all the ones you have made. I would like to have a little information: what is the length, without counting the couplers (10 m?) As well as the width (2,240 m?) Of the body of these passenger cars? I have the plans for the ZDM 3 locomotive but not that of rolling stock . Thank you in advance for this informations and especially for the pleasure you give us in discovering this beautiful railway line.
I needed to see this comment three years ago. Then I could have arranged to get the details sought by you from Motibagh Workshop where these coaches were sent for periodic overhaul. It is a bit late now as now I have retired.
Jay balkrishna are you from south.i am rakesh from chennai.i remember those 80's period when my father was posted near khaperkheda.thanks for bringing those days in memory.
Superb railfaning. Journey of Nagpur - Chhindwara - Nainpur - Jabalpur - Nainpur - Balaghat in NG is remarkable. But all these NG lines of Nagpur Div. of S.E.C.R are under GC. Great past. Thanks. - Rajanish Joshi
maza lene ke liye pahadon par hai siligudi aur shimla mei. yaha broad gauge double line hona hi chahiye jiske abhav me trains ko itarsi ka lamba chakkar lagana padta hai.
Very pretty route. Love the greenery and forest. Wish Indian Railways had made this as a heritage route. Any clue on the average and peak speed of this train.

ब्रॉडगेज जरूरी है नैरो गेज को भी रहने देने चाहिए,इसका अपना मजा है इसके समानांतर ब्रॉडगेज डाली जारही है तो इसको यथा वत ही रहने देना चाहिए
