Mid January i quit my job in HR to take a "sabbatical". No one understood my decision but i knew it was between me & God & not for them to understand. I took a solo trip to Peru & God has been providing all my needs & even my wants. I've experienced God as a provider as well as a teacher in this phase of my life.
That's so hard when there isn't understanding and empathy. I am glad you were able to connect to the Lord and follow his leading regardless of "man's" wisdom. All good intentioned as it might be! lol
New subscriber here. I was also led to quit my soul-sucking job 5 months ago and become a homemaker. I resuscitated my RUclips channel and am now teaching women how to be homemakers! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It matters. Keep going! God is leading us, and He always leads us if we allow Him to.
That’s awesome! That’s really brave of you. And what a valuable thing you are teaching women! So many times we venture offered a new things and we feel alone, but the fact you’re willing to walk with women as they embark on the new adventure with home that’s awesome! Looking forward to connecting soon!
Awesome now a days many women belittle other women who don’t work even if they have a husband. They also get angry when husbands buys their wife the things they want and need which I find very odd. The family circle has been changing literally by Satan. Nothing wrong if a woman who is not single works either but to tell a married woman that her husband shouldn’t purchase anything it’s very strange and wrong. With the transgender movement and abortion etc the family circle is fading away
I was led to quit my hell job as well. I fought it and fought it, but it was increasingly clear that very gainful employment was being brought to an end. God is actually doing this to many of His Remnant right now. Taking us out of Egypt (the world system) so we may serve Him - Exodus 8:1
@@maryldemilo It’s a water walk and it will develop your faith like you could have never imagined! You probably already know this though! You’re amazing! I am following you to see how God uses you in your journey to blaze a trail for others who will find themselves in your (our) position!
@@StephanieB1982 Yes it most definitely is a water walk! It is so good to be encouraged by one another... journeys are hard. I am grateful you are boldly walking with the Lord. Bless you!
Well, I reckon I was meant to be in Egypt, lol, because I don’t have anyone else to rely on, if I don’t work, I’m out on the street, or best case, living with my mom, lol.
The last week of May, God was telling me to quit my job. Wednesday, Thursday and finally on Friday I tell my Christian friend and she helps hold me accountable and Monday I was meant to put in my two weeks. Monday came and something happened that I KNEW God was FORCING me out. I have no savings, I was homeschooling and working remotely making great money but no real room for growth. Its a month to the day later, I have no way of knowing how I am going to keep the lights on but I know that God is leading me. After homeschooling (which was also Jesus led) my daughter just got into a private school and they sang my praises because she was so ahead of her piers in her testing. God gets all the glory because I needed this confirmation that although I had no idea what I was doing, he was there and he led me through. This walk is uncomfortable, its constant uncertainty and walking by faith not by sight.
I cannot believe this post. I have been feeling this pull lately. But I have noone who really understands it and asking my husband to support is a huge ask I think. We have 3 children and feels like a completely unhinged decision- and yet it's all I want to do 😢
@@kathrynsuch pray on it, it has been the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. *update* my rent is currently paid for the next two months, car payment is made, insurance and utilities are all paid. In 2004, I walked away from a 60,000-dollar a year job at a research lab with no plan. For the last 19 years, I have lived out my dreams and recently wrote a book about everything that happened.
Mary, that wasn't me who wrote that nasty comment. You stepped out in faith when you left your job, and God will elevate you like he did me after I left my job. The guy wrote that comment was a jerk. Don't listen to him.@@maryldemilo
I quit a high paying job with no plan 4 days ago. So many reasons and signs I was ignoring. His will not mine. There is no place I desire to be except in his will. I just came across your videos during this time and I believe it is not by accident.
Yes, sometimes it takes a leap of faith and goes against "conventional" ways of doing things. I am glad you stopped by and I pray you continue to experience God's presence
I quit my job twice with no plan. 1st time was in 2022 after hearing Gods voice sooo clearly. I recently quit a job earning 6 figures a few months ago without a plan. I know God will provide. Thanks for sharing! I just subscribed 🥰
Wow God is amazing! He led me to your video and I am blessed by it, thank you! I resigned from a good job a month ago and am now trusting God to lead me to the next place where I can serve him. It’s so heartwarming to read so many comments of fellow Christians experiencing similar situations. Thanks for sharing your testimony. By the way, I am a Biola alum too :)
Well God just pulled the trigger for me, so not sure what He has planned for me next, but praying about it and I’m sure He will reveal it in my life. God is our provider, not our employers. ❤ 🔥
@riozkan Jesus the Christ and son of God cares for you! Jesus said I am the the way, the truth and the light. Psalm 55:22 ESV Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Omg!! I have no words, you spoke right to me! This is my present situation except I work in corporate. But God is doing something… 🙏🏾 And I have been hearing and seeing this quite a bit, it seems like God is stirring in a lot of our spirits and ushering us into a brand new season of purpose and intentionality. I am in the same boat, I don’t know the future. Yet I feel peace.
Wow, I am so glad it resonates. yes, this is such an overlap in cooperate or service industries etc. We work with our hearts, bodies and stories as well. I think what is on paper and our spiritual lives often don't align. Praying for your future.
Trust me you have made the greatest decision of your life! This is the fun of life now your real life adventures begins...and the best part you are actually happy!
Christianity is new to me, I fully put my heart into it September last year and the most amazing things have happened in my life since. I have always felt stuck in a career that I didn't enjoy but have done it for so long that I didn't know what else to do. God lead me to my current job which is the same career wise, but more relaxed and a mixture of other things. Then in January this year I saw an ad for online marketing and for the first time in my life I felt like I could do it, it I would start it as a side hustle, I prayed about it a lot and God sent me the verse John chapter 15. I felt as though he was saying as long as you keep me with you, I will make it fruitful. Then recently my job changed i'd be earning half the money I earned before, but I felt as though God did this to spur me on to make the online business my full time career Im so excited for what the future will bring
Oh wow! What a journey you have been on. Yes John 15 is one of my favorites. Apart from him we cbs do nothing. I’m excited for your new venture as well! Keep me updated on it if you want. God will use everything In our lives that’s for sure
Congrats on your eyes sparkling especially at 11 seconds into this video ...a month ago I visited a large church where everyone was "saved" and speaking in tongues but nobody's eyes sparkled. Sparkling is the grace of God. I am blessed to work two days a week but I sparkle all seven days.🙏
I quit my job at Starbucks as a barista and ended up having my own business. God bless you sister Maryl. I'm so happy that I gave my life to Christ on my 17th birthday and it's encouraged my sister and best friend to follow Christ after my 17th birthday. We also did our one on one gospel conversation with people in the public. I also met my hubsand and his best friend with by ministering the gospel with him and he knew the gospel but we still invited them to our Bible study group at Panera Bread.
Really needed to hear this today. God’s called me back to being a pastor but not within a church so I’ve been in a state of confusion being in that same hallway. Lot of faith needed because I can’t wrap my mind around what will happen. Thank you for sharing!
Interesting reading, God told Abraham to go this land…. But what happened when he got there? Did it feel like he made a “touchdown”, in this case probably not, the scripture say there was a famine in the land. Trusting God, connecting with him, must be its own reward. Though he blesses, he is our reward.
@@maryldemilo🌈Thank you for sharing your Testimony Sister.✨ Proverbs 20:24 "Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?" Sometimes things are not always clear, but we can rest assured that God has established powers un place to ensure His will is accomplished.🤍
I have to comment again and say I’m so grateful to hear your husband is supporting this. In my experience the enemy will use people to try to thwart you from loving so freely in Gods will. Sounds like you’re both grounded in faith. What an amazing pave to be!!! You’re already there!!! This is the freedom from the lies of the world and the enemy.
Thank you for saying that! This comment blessed my husband he saw it and screen-shot it to me saying he was glad to be of support. It is true that our communities and close circles can really speak life into us when we are confused, blind, or feeling down. You have the gift of seeing goodness. bless you!
I'm privileged to get the opportunity to watch your videos. Needless to say, I'm gaining spiritual knowledge through your teachings. I see how you are able to use your resources to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. May the risen Lord Jesus Christ, help you further, in all ways to reach those who hunger & thirst for the truth, that is ... " God's Word" Amen 🙏
I love this video, its where I am in my life and walk with the Lord. I feel the Lord slowly pushing me out of my job and more into ministry. I would love to do what you are doing but more so for singles and helping understand hard Bible doctrine better. We all have our own gifts and unique ministry to the world around us. Pray for me. it is hard to trust the Lord and take that leap of faith.
Im dying to get away from my job that was a dream to get with. And has now become an absolute nightmare now. !! I sure wish i could just “quit” with no plan!! Haha. ! My bills wont pay themselves. Lol. Pray for THE LORD TO OPEN OTHER DOORS THAT NO MAN CAN CLOSE ❤❤
Long comment warning. Lol! A year ago I quit my job (special education classroom aide) at a High School. Miss the students and staff I worked with but I don't miss the job or the stress. lol! Now I'm a wearhouse associate for a very well known shipping company. I have a great circle of coworker friends there, and the schedule I have is great because it gives me plenty of time to finish my first book ive been writing. Plus the job is like a workout that I get paid to do and has got me into real good shape! But I would have to say presently I'm learning to trust and obey God in regards to a special someone ive had a crush on ❤ for a long time. I feel kind of like Steve Urqule pursing Laura Winslow! Lol. But seriously it's been a struggle first trying to figure out God's will and direction about this and then to obey and trust him. These videos are definitely giving me some amazing insight and perspective.
I just found your channel and love the content so far! I’m almost 60 and still trying to figure things out. But I’m listening to where God is leading me!
Very refreshing perspectives! For anyone else, once when I was giving Jesus time to arrange my future for me (I was in between jobs) to minimize stress, and literally, give him room to work in my life, my wife and I would go on walks EVERY day, surrendering, everything to him in audible prayer. I.e, Lord i am trusting in what you are working on behind the scenes, i surrender, this fear of the unknown to you, on this new adventure Thank you for this next thing.” Something like that helps minimize stress, and gratitude gives him room to fight for us and work on our behalf.
Yes the time to slow down and listen is really important. I am so glad that there was room to work! I believe that is so important we are often in such a hurry that we miss God. Bless you@
I truly understand everything your saying! I can relate, totally!! Love to watch your channel. Yes, we can't SLOW DOWN...we don't take the time to rest & marinate in our own true purpose & calling. If we did, this would be heaven on earth. BLESS U & TAKE US THRU A SLOW PROCESS OF TRUSTING GOD SO THAT WE HAVE A GUIDE TO DO IT, TOO😊😊😊
God Bless. 40 hours is too much even for full time. It was established to control the people as well as children being away from their family many hours in school. It’s all about control. Birth certificates, social security numbers, ID’s etc which also helps but the main reason was control and know where everyone is
I mean yeah its hard to keep order without it bleeding into feeling like control. 40 hours is alot and I think we often define work as "paid" or hard labor" but lots of things are "work" even if they just move our lives forward. Work/life balance is SO hard.
I am in the exact same situation. Working as admin assistant at my small church, and trying to create my own course...I have my site up, but desire to do my creating fulltime. So wild how similar your story mirrors mine.
I have loved my job for 5 years. But now I am at a similar place that you were. I transferred to a new location and it’s just not the same. I stepped out in faith 6 months ago and did something huge that I didn’t want to do but truly felt God calling me to. 6 months later that decision actually led me to what I want to do full time! But.. it’s not making any money yet, I’m still at my job and my funds are greatly depleting. I am at a place now where God is my only hope. Part of me regrets that decision but the other part of me knows for a fact that I wouldn’t have found my passion if I hadn’t have made that decision. Now I’m just waiting and trusting. I still can’t step into that passion fully yet because of time and money. But I’m believing that one day I will. God will make a way. Thanks I for this video. It truly helped!!
Oh I am glad it did, its true that we are led sometimes to places of scarcity and yet there are good things there too...we truly get to rely on God and it is not easy. praying for you!
This was so helpful! I’m feeling a tug for change in my work too. Can’t put my finger on it but I’ve been wanting to share testimonies on RUclips for a while. whoa how scary does that sound!? 😅 also have way too many ideas and things I want to do so I find myself spinning and not sure if I hear God on any of it. In time I’m sure :) Congrats on the bold move and I pray God blesses your new endeavor!
It is a scary thing to put yourself out there in Faith because of how little control we have of how people respond. I pray that you hear from God in a clear way that gives you the direction and confidence you need to pursue whats next. Bless you! Keep me updated on your journey!
I wasn’t raised in church at all. The spirit of God leads some of the ones who were completely lost!!!!!! He saves us and then He leads us. Hear His voice, have visions, dreams, heal the sick, cast out demons!!!!!!!! Yeah we cast out demons!!!! I’m only 2 years into the Lord not church culture or religion. I came from the wilderness!! Into the Lords comfort! He says go and we go!!! I’m glad your being used as a vessel by the Lord. Let Him lead, He will always take care of you!!! Trust!!!!!! We love you Father 🥲
Very timely! I am at the end of my rope at a corporate job I hate every day more and more. And have no idea what to do next or what to do about anything. 😢
You are an amazing encouragement. It almost looks like you were peeking over my shoulder and reading my journal. I have the same issues to consider. I am also seeking full-time time to develop content and Bible commentary online. "God's faith" in you will show you success. My process has been one step at a time and is now 7 years in the making. I appreciate your genuine approach to your videos. God bless you in your endeavours.
thats is a great move sounds to me you were in training at your parish and now are teaching others what the lord has shown you the hardest part is that first initial step if you stay you feel that you are not doing what the lrod wants you to do and its unfulfilling and thats not a good place to be .The other side to this is you are giving the church a new directive and new people to take over your role thats healthy for any church change is necessary for us to grow though it can be unsettling.
Very true. It's rare that people see it like that. God uses everything in our lives to grow us for whats next (even if that is to stay) Being detached from the outcome and trusting God has helped tremendously.
About visions and dreams, and gifts of the Holy Spirit. If its God, its God, and if its you, its you. My hopes identity will be clear as crystal in heaven.
I too left working with different organisations, from feb.2020 i am doing independent ministry, just depending on God and he has been faithful till today,so don't worry friends,God is our source 🙏.
I have several family member in the pastoral ministry and I don’t think I will be able to handle it but I know God is the one who guides and gives strength
Hello Mary! I am so glad I found you. I was searching and searching but i didn’t know for what, then I read your video title and I was like okay…that sounds right😉 God has me in a time of waiting for over 2 years now! In that time I took on 2 jobs that weren’t right until I got ill and really frustrated…then they kicked me out and I was like: and now what Lord and the Lord said: trust in me! I was taking that job for financial reasons but God just wanted me to stop entirely…so I obey and I am getting ready to go step by step into the right direction…like you… Finding your video has so encouraged me as I was feeling very weird in this phase of life, but it’s all about God teaching you some lessons…especially about who you are in the waiting, in the process, without any title…that is scary and he confronts you with your stuff and rips everything away that doesn’t belong there…God bless you in your journey Mary and everyone else of course as well…God will provide for everything!🙌🏻praise him! God bless, Anna Maria
I took that step in March. I was working in a ministry related job. It wasn’t a bad job but it is a smaller ministry & I had to wear a lot of hats. Someone else might thrive on this but I was struggling with feeling drained & like I was doing a mediocre job. I prayed about it & some definite things happened that showed I needed to move on. I’ve spent the last month out of work. Yet I felt the Lord just asking me to sit with Him right now, so that’s what I’m trying to do! Things can be distracting & it’s been its own training ground. Holy Spirit actually led me to someone I knew who did the same, left her corporate job of 20+ years & sat with the Lord for two months before launching a Christ Centered life coaching course. I started with her right before I made the decision. I think the Lord knew what I needed. Having her encourage me & work through strongholds & what my strengths are plus working on my relationship with the Lord has been a key thing as I move forward. Looking forward to what the Lord does next for all of us as we listen to His voice!
I feel you! What a sweet invitation of God to invite you to sit with him. I am hearing something similar. "be still and know" Ps. 46:10. It's uncomfortable at times. It is a great training ground. its not the UP UP UP we all desire.. or at least I desire in my humanness. ha! Yes, it is SO important to have those encouraging voices and other believers to be "with us" Thank you for sharing your story of relating its very encouraging. Bless you!
This happened to me! 😭 I finally saw my title on paper and was so happy..but now months down the line they have added more work to my load and more stress and my family and home is falling apart because I have no time or energy left to tend to the first ministry God gave me…my family. So I am quitting next month. Thank you for this!
Oh my goodness. This is MY story! Haha. I also had an amazing job at my church with pretty much my own custom job description (and another church opportunity where I could've crafted my own job as well)... but I just knew and felt God invite me to step out of the boat without any backup plan, because it was only then that he'd be able to teach me what I needed to learn for what was ahead. My journey has been full of ambiguity, uncertainty, but also I wouldn't have traded it for the world. I've grown and been transformed so much in the midst of this "transition" (if you can even call it that ;)) and I know for a fact that God is only going to continue to prove himself faithful ahead, as well. Thank you for sharing your story! So cool to hear from someone else who has literally walked and is also continuing to walk through the exact same things. Blessings to you and just newly subscribed and followed on IG!
I am SO grateful you shared your story. It's so hard when it feels tailored to you but it doesn't feel that way... it can be easy to feel like we are the "crazy" ones vs just using that as data to hear God and ourselves for the next thing. You've got guts!
I did the same thing last year. I felt God nudging me and convicting me to leave my job as a Deaf Education teacher and jump full-time into ministry. Once we get to July 2024 I will have been doing it for a full year. I still work at school as a sub for interpreting or Deaf Education teaching and retail to pay the bills. However, God has provided every time. Every time I thought I wouldn't have enough, God went above and beyond. I'm so grateful for His mercy and provision. I'm hoping this summer I can get 9 months ahead on content creation so I can return as an interpreter with a much lighter workload. I adore the kids, and teaching math, science, history, and English is important, but I felt God clearly telling me, "Yes, those may be important, but what's more important is their eternal salvation." Now that was conviction! 💞 I'm going this afternoon to get a planner to write out everything I need to do this summer so I will be able to stay consistent through the entire school year with posting videos 💞
I really resonate with this. I literally had my last potential day on Friday and waiting to hear about my contract being extended again… but have also been feeling like I’m really not sure it’s for me… but not sure what God might have in store. 🙏🏻
Yea, I’ve found this video really helpful. The question what would you do if you totally trusted God. I would seek Him and His kingdom 1st and trust it will all work out. That’s what I’m trying to do in this season. Look forward to seeing your journey and rooting for you.
@@elliotcole8340 That question does open up our deepest longings and heart with God. I am glad it was helpful. I pray you continue to experience God's presence as he leads you (He is our good shepherd!)
We are here to do the Lord's will, not our will. Jesus never lets us down. We don't understand everything. Jesus never said that life would be easy. Call out to Jesus in your distress. Keep praying, praying, and praying until the HolySpirit comes. He comes on His timing, not our timing. Keep praying, reading his word. Give him praises due unto His Holy Name. Sing to Him. Get alone with God and keep seeking His Face. Call out and ask for help. Ask Him to lead and guide you.
The Bible doesn't speak about spiritual directors, nor spiritual formation. It speaks about sanctification of the Spirit by walking in the word of truth.
..it also doesn't speak about the Internet, yet here we are. I think that might be splitting hairs there a bit much brother/sister. "Teacher" could be an acceptable substitute name, and we all have to learn from other believers at some point, even the "super spiritual" and "religious." Not trying to sound harsh, but I've been down that rabbit trail before and have no room for it.
I believe this may be a practice founded by St Ignatius of Loyola. If you look up what she is talking about Ignatius spiritual direction/director... seems to be based on that. A brother or sister in Jesus Christ coming along side of another brother or sister in Christ to help them mentoring them in the faith, but in other places regarding Ignatius teachings it specifically says its not discipleship, mentoring, counseling so that honestly is a bit off. Discipling is biblical, whether the actual practice St. Ignatius initiated and that ministry is or is not biblical, I wouldn't know b/c I haven't dug that deep into it. If you google it apparently it is a ministry called Ignatius spirituality.. discernment is wise so I'd walk with discernment on this one. Ultimately the word says the Holy Spirit is our teacher. I would stick with him and not just be led by anyone these days. I'm not speaking against this lady bc I don't know her but just be discerning.
@@TheWayWalker Yes God is the TRUE spiritual director. A good resource to explain what spiritual direction is: www.graftedlife.org/spiritual-direction/about-spiritual-direction . It can be hard when people filter and interpret words differently!
Hi Maryl. I just came onto RUclips to do someone and here and your video appeared like 2nd in my normal feed... your heading caught my attention! I've never heard about you. I can relate so much to what you shared. I took similar steps like that in 2012, 2017 and I definitely feel it coming again. But during the last season, I also worked for a chrurch half day. Another place the other half and then inbetween like 5 other hats😶 I soooo relate! I have something thats been brewing in my heart to write and to do. But in the evenings I was too tired. It was like God got my worst time (for pressing into what I want to get out onto paper). Many times I said it feels like I put this "blueprint" and God on the shelf, collecting dust... while this urgency in my heart keeps tickling me! (I love serving, but sometimes to my own detriment. Good is not always God). So I dropped some hats! Made my time more "loose". 😅 But its a place I need to be discerning all the time... what fills my week? Distractions toward my time is a biggy for me. While growing in trust everytime and every day! What a great season to be in!!! I will definitely be following you... it was encouraging to hear some similarities... You go girl! His GOT you!!! Also be encouraged by Ps 37 ❤
Hi Thank you SO much for commenting and sharing how you relate to some of the same experiences. You ask some great questions! I believe that is so true that when God is at the center and is our life source we can slow down and see his movements. What is the rush? God has this! I will read that Psalm today thank you for sharing it! Peace to you on your journey of finding full rest in God!
Some of us quit and then our entire worlds collapse and we are hanging onto God by a thread. Been 8 years now for me and the trials of Job. People have to understand this will be a test of faith and count the cost to follow and depend on God fully.
Great observation! People claiming that God brought them out of their job, even though they have savings to fall back on, or an inheritance, or a spouse who makes enough to foot the load. I’d love to hear the testimony of someone who was living paycheck and decided to quit their job. I’d love to quit my job, but, I don’t want to be a guy in his 40s living with his mom, lol.
@@ALTheFreeMan I left very gainful employment with a very very small savings that ran out quickly. That was five years ago. I still have no “reliable” source of income. I had to sell or give away all I had, move across the country without knowing what God was doing - I just obeyed. I am not boasting. This is a testimony. I had no relatives that support me financially. In fact, I told VERY few what was happening because I did not want anyone feeling obligated or manipulated into somehow rescuing me, plus I have learned to keep things close to the vest. Job’s friends are everywhere. This has absolutely not been a cake walk. I have gone through very difficult periods of time not knowing how on earth I was going to live through this, but the intimacy and trust built upon THE ROCK is inevitable when you absolutely have no one to depend on except God and His Word. If you are a disciple of Christ you WILL be shaken until you are no longer shakable. God has His own way of working this out in His children. For me it was being taken out of the world system economy and learning that when God says not to worry about tomorrow and He feeds the birds in the air, He means it.
I trusted in the Lord of Jesus Christ as my personal savior into my heart through faith alone, and not of works, by accepting his free gift of salvation, by his grace on February 16, 1996, each day, I confess sins for process of sanctification, to receive Jesus Christ as your personal savior, please refer to Matthew 10:28, John 3:16-18:36, 5:24, 6:37:47, 10:27-29, 14:6, Acts 2:38, 16:30-31, Luke 15:10, Romans 1:16, 3:23, 4:5, 6:23, 10:9-10:13, Ephesians 2:8-10, and Titus 3:5. God bless the world, and thank you for sharing.
It sounds funny hearing you frame this around God when it is just a natural human process many of us go through everyday. I have had the same feelings as you about multiple jobs and it lead me on multiple occasions to work for myself which is always a liberating thing to do because you have so much more control because you are now the captain of your own ship. Most people don't do this for fear of failure but things have no choice but to work out one way or another. I have had at least 6 different businesses and none of them were failures. The reason it sounds funny to hear you frame it around a particular God is I could just as easily give credit for my decisions to anyone or anything rather than accept I am responsible for my direction in life.
I'm "confused" just by hearing it, so I wonder how you felt.. in fact, nowadays, these issues of money and provision are a current preocupation in the minds of everybody, from the most powerful nations to the least
Yes, it takes a lot of time and discernment and trial and error and listening to God’s word and spiritual direction. I’m mean there’s so many things that aid in our ability to work the muscle to actually hear the voice of God versus our own desires and the world influence.

What's written again, Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail the test? (2 Corinthians 13:5) But I expect that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test. (2 Corinthians 13:6) You're claiming to be of God and I'm here testing you with the word and it's obviously offending you. But rightfully so Jesus spoke of you! He said, And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, 👉immediately they are offended.👈 (Mark 4:17) Are we not told to test every spirit? (1 John 4:1) And it's written that he whom God has sent speaks the words of God. (John 3:34) Seems to me you're just "BOASTING" as Paul wrote, But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. (2 Corinthians 11:12) So what's the test that proves you're in the faith? What proves that Christ in you? I already know you don't know, because if you did you wouldn't be so quick to dismiss a man of God

I LOVE THIS!!! ❤️❤️
That’s awesome! That’s really brave of you. And what a valuable thing you are teaching women! So many times we venture offered a new things and we feel alone, but the fact you’re willing to walk with women as they embark on the new adventure with home that’s awesome! Looking forward to connecting soon!
Sounds like an isolation time ...
Step back and get humbled.
Fasz'n pray. It will be a hard time.
Yes 🙌 absolutely. It’s important to be in a space where we can be fully alive with God even if it’s not perfect.

Wow thanks for sharing this story that takes a lot of courage especially with less resources.
I cannot believe this post. I have been feeling this pull lately. But I have noone who really understands it and asking my husband to support is a huge ask I think. We have 3 children and feels like a completely unhinged decision- and yet it's all I want to do 😢

Then recently my job changed i'd be earning half the money I earned before, but I felt as though God did this to spur me on to make the online business my full time career
Im so excited for what the future will bring
Oh wow! What a journey you have been on.
Yes John 15 is one of my favorites. Apart from him we cbs do nothing. I’m excited for your new venture as well! Keep me updated on it if you want. God will use everything In our lives that’s for sure
I love this! I believe God allowing us to create wealth (by His power) is part of the wealth transfer (from the wicked) where we are no longer slaves.

That is awesome!
Really needed to hear this today. God’s called me back to being a pastor but not within a church so I’ve been in a state of confusion being in that same hallway. Lot of faith needed because I can’t wrap my mind around what will happen. Thank you for sharing!
I am glad it helped. That hallway man... it is the biggest place of trust and space for intimacy to grow but it can be uncomfortable.
Interesting reading, God told Abraham to go this land…. But what happened when he got there? Did it feel like he made a “touchdown”, in this case probably not, the scripture say there was a famine in the land. Trusting God, connecting with him, must be its own reward. Though he blesses, he is our reward.
Yes God is enough.

Wow thank you for sharing. God can meet us in any job! I love that

Maam your so special and I love you with all my heart. Im a 11 year old who loves jesus
Hi Lexi! Welcome to the Paige so happy to have you the Lord loves you deeply too!
BLESS U & TAKE US THRU A SLOW PROCESS OF TRUSTING GOD SO THAT WE HAVE A GUIDE TO DO IT, TOO😊😊😊
So good to hear! Bless you, yes slowing down is key... I think half of our problems would vanish if we slowed down!
Love this video, thank you!

Really?! Oh wow! It is such a grind! Keep going. If you ever want to chat reach out about the process let me know!

Aw I am sorry to hear! Sometimes is just that next right step (even when we don't know!)
Thank you for commenting! This is such a real issue and I pray that you hear God's voice and invitations into the "unknown next!"
thats is a great move sounds to me you were in training at your parish and now are teaching others what the lord has shown you the hardest part is that first initial step if you stay you feel that you are not doing what the lrod wants you to do and its unfulfilling and thats not a good place to be .The other side to this is you are giving the church a new directive and new people to take over your role thats healthy for any church change is necessary for us to grow though it can be unsettling.
I can relate after quitting a multitude of jobs to seek out unanswered questions.

Hello Mary! I am so glad I found you. I was searching and searching but i didn’t know for what, then I read your video title and I was like okay…that sounds right😉
God has me in a time of waiting for over 2 years now! In that time I took on 2 jobs that weren’t right until I got ill and really frustrated…then they kicked me out and I was like: and now what Lord and the Lord said: trust in me!
I was taking that job for financial reasons but God just wanted me to stop entirely…so I obey and I am getting ready to go step by step into the right direction…like you…
Finding your video has so encouraged me as I was feeling very weird in this phase of life, but it’s all about God teaching you some lessons…especially about who you are in the waiting, in the process, without any title…that is scary and he confronts you with your stuff and rips everything away that doesn’t belong there…God bless you in your journey Mary and everyone else of course as well…God will provide for everything!🙌🏻praise him!

Someone will be there to witness too!
Oh I hear you!
All the best to you! Praying for you! ❤
Thank you so much!
hello Mary just wish to thank u for this most powerful life impact. have few questions to ask
How can I help you?
God Bless you more

I quit my job a month ago. And i still dont know where to go next .😅
I get that!
I'm going this afternoon to get a planner to write out everything I need to do this summer so I will be able to stay consistent through the entire school year with posting videos 💞
That's great that you have an action plan. Let me know how that goes. Praise God that he has been faithful!

I really resonate with this. I literally had my last potential day on Friday and waiting to hear about my contract being extended again… but have also been feeling like I’m really not sure it’s for me… but not sure what God might have in store. 🙏🏻
Oh wow yes listen to the the feelings (what they are communicating) I pray God gives you comfort and clarity.

Yeah GOD HAS LET ME DOWN TO MANY TIMES FOR ME TO TRUST THAT HE WILL PROVIDE!🥺
We are here to do the Lord's will, not our will. Jesus never lets us down. We don't understand everything. Jesus never said that life would be easy. Call out to Jesus in your distress. Keep praying, praying, and praying until the HolySpirit comes. He comes on His timing, not our timing. Keep praying, reading his word. Give him praises due unto His Holy Name. Sing to Him. Get alone with God and keep seeking His Face. Call out and ask for help. Ask Him to lead and guide you.
May Yehovah bless yall
Bless you
The Bible doesn't speak about spiritual directors, nor spiritual formation.
Yes, Spiritual Formation is the process of sanctification. How to grow in Christ. It all needs to be Biblically grounded.
I feel the disciples were spiritual directors and what they wrote which was inspired by God
Another place the other half and then inbetween like 5 other hats😶
I soooo relate!

God communicates with us through Scripture; we, with Him, through prayer?
Yes in so many ways :)
Are people quitting with savings and they take comfort in that which makes it easier? Or are people truly trusting in God only?!
It all depends! God works within our circumstances and everyone's situation is different!
Some of us quit and then our entire worlds collapse and we are hanging onto God by a thread. Been 8 years now for me and the trials of Job. People have to understand this will be a test of faith and count the cost to follow and depend on God fully.
@@mauer62 Yikes...
I did too sister!!
Great to hear!

THank you for sharing. Great verses!
@@maryldemilo I will see you in heaven.
:)

It's written,
Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.
(1 Peter 3:15)
I'm asking you questions, and you're dismissing me?
If EVERYONE was a child of God, hell wouldn't exist would it?
What's written again,
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves!
Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail the test?
(2 Corinthians 13:5)
But I expect that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.
(2 Corinthians 13:6)
You're claiming to be of God and I'm here testing you with the word and it's obviously offending you. But rightfully so Jesus spoke of you! He said,
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake,
👉immediately they are offended.👈
(Mark 4:17)
Are we not told to test every spirit?
(1 John 4:1)
And it's written that he whom God has sent speaks the words of God.
(John 3:34)
Seems to me you're just "BOASTING" as
Paul wrote,
But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast.
(2 Corinthians 11:12)
So what's the test that proves you're in the faith? What proves that Christ in you?
